A coworker told me that she views her life and relationships like a tree. Some people will be roots, branches, and others leaves. I really liked that way of looking at life, i just felt like sharing it, something about it eases me a bit
Spent a whole week working on this and its finally done! I can not express how badly I wanted to spoil this on the discord but I managed to hold out!
It started with the middle image because I had sketched a picture of Edgar and wanted to make a piece with him and so I just kept doodling Edgar taking care of a little bear Mike. I think it was the top left image that sold me on the adventures of Mikey bear.
I find it hilarious that Edgar takes care of this little bear that is a sweetheart only to him and just makes these ugly expressions to everyone else. Thus the easter eggs of Lilo and Stitch sprinkled around.
Was listening to the Patreon commentary for the show and he kept making notes for whoever is editing the wiki to the point where I'm now making my own Wiki on Obsidian note taker. I guess this is what I do in my free time now for fun, Along with hyper fixating on drawing animals with cowboy hats. Week, I think, 4 of listening to the commentary but also restarting the podcast and the commentaries to take notes while I listen. Its fun to re-listen to the podcast and pick up on things that hint at something that ends up happening way later on.
Wanted to share this lil sketch of Bear & Badger. Was gonna be on Witch Michael's hat but found it distracting and it looks too similar to the Bear & Panther piece to make it an entire piece, so I'll just share it here. I do have a different piece in mind for these too so cant wait to get around to that.
Got Witch Michael on the brain so I did these fun lil doodles. I've never really done a simple grey shading like this on art pieces but it was fun to play around with. The one on the right did have a metal buckle on the witch hat but i found it was distracting, maybe I'll clean that up and make it a separate piece but it was basically like my last piece but with a sleeping bear & badger. Also added a crow cause i had to draw Flapper with a lil cowboy hat. I'm willing Michael making tiny lil cowboy hats for his crow into the canon.
Sleep in Saturday for a little bear and panther.
I wanted to sketch up woe.begone merch ideas for the server but than I made a really cute thumbnail sketch and wanted to make a quick and easy finished piece.........and then I proceeded to stay up real late until I had 3hrs left before work. 🥲
