Reblogging again for the fuckboy who ignored it the first time
Walgreens your worker enjoys making black customers wait 2 hours for pain medication
The fact that he’s a minority himself as a “homo” disgusts me to see him putting down other minorities. #Hate it!
There has always been a disparity in the pharmaceutical field when it comes to black lives. So many times have I heard that there isn’t such a thing as improper treatment or hindrances when it comes to black people receiving their medicines and other life saving products, but now white people just think they can make casual jokes about mistreating black people in pain.
He needs to be fired and barred from working as a pharmacist for the rest of his life tbh.
Fuck this dude. Get him fired.
Has @walgreens addressed this? Like we know what the research says about not treating black pain and here’s their sociopath of an employee proudly perpetuating it. “Stay well…unless you’re black-then suffer in pain”

Why POC in Witchcraft matter
Okay, so disclaimer. I am a white ass bitch. But let me put down some truth on this matter.
POC are constantly ridiculed for alternative culture to what white america deems is okay, and yet somehow SOMEHOW the witch community…. a place for people who have been historically persecuted for their beliefs and lifestyle??? (specifically older/traditional witches) still finds a way to shit on black/latino witches whom decide to practice in a fashion similar to their ancestors.
I don’t know if little miss Mary Lou and Betsy know this… but poppets and various other magickal/occult items come from practices such as West African Vodun, Cuban Vodu, Dominican Vodu and various other African spiritual concepts/religions that were spread throughout by POC historically and thus developed into rootwork/Hoodoo. So please STFU and respect POC witches following a path similar to what their heritage is, or respect them if they follow a path far from their heritage. Just plain and simple:
Respect POC witches.

So many people are reblogging my short post on low vs high magic being inherently gendered and I guess I really forgot that since it’s such a commonly espoused division in books that many people actually didn’t realize that connection previously?
But I mean it’s especially insidious in any book that insists on characterizing random natural forms or elements as male or female because spoiler fucking alert every forceful aggressive powerful force is called male and every peaceful subjective quiet submissive creative force is called female so like it’s not even close to being subtle and don’t get me started on how offensive it is from a cissexist standpoint either. We have a lot of problems to iron out in 101 books I’ll tell u that
I’m still really salty over masculine and feminine signs being used wide scale in astrology too exactly because it’s always the same: this force is masculine because it’s forceful and essentially stands up for itself, this one is feminine because it’s warm and loving and concerned for family or whatever like what the fuck kind of explanation is this bull
And holy shit if someone goes “no it’s okay we have male and female in all of us even if u date someone of the same gender it’s a mix of male and female energy” no get the fuck out of my face with this weird insistence on placing arbitrary human genders on supernatural and natural forces beyond our very comprehension as earthlings and also consider stop trying to accidentally on purpose erase non cishet people in magick with mental weird backflips to impose male and female on everybody without their consent by claiming it’s some —natural order— of energy
Which leads me to my next point: according to basic paganism books, I postulate nonbinary, multiple and agender people exist outside space, time, and reality itself and therefore probably have more power than one human should fairly handle. The takeover is likely imminent as we speak
I, an agender, can confirm that I do not follow the laws of time and space, nor the laws of physics. I am only visible to those who I choose, and I then claim these mortals to join our nonbinary army.
When the book you’re reading takes a turn you weren’t prepared for so you slowly close the book & just sit there like what the fuck

What she says: I'm fine
What she means: In Legally Blonde, Elle only gets accepted because she's hot and sent a video, but she had a 4.0 and got a 179 (out of 180) on her LSATS. Sure, her major was in Fashion Merchandising but that's a business major, and the fake school she was at was supposed to be UCLA so she had a business degree from a major college, probably went to a great high school, had a 4.0, and a 179 on the LSATS and at that point she would have been automatically accepted so why did they make it sound like she was such a bad risk? She even had leadership experience as president of a major chapter of what is apparently a huge sorority, since Delta Nus are shown as everything from cheerleaders to senators. Harvard should have been desperate to take her. She should have been able to get in if she turned in a cocktail napkin with her name written on it. So why make up the bullshit excuse of "multiculturalism" to justify letting in an extremely qualified and highly driven candidate just for laughs? Elle Woods deserved to go to Harvard and she earned that place with academic excellence and not by being hot.
Fancy facts:
1. The gorgeous hardcover of Crooked Kingdom will feature RED STAINED PAGES and new art by Keith Thompson.
2. The Six of Crows Boxed Set will include hardcover editions of Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom and it is absurdly beautiful.
3. The Grisha Trilogy Boxed Set features paperback editions of Shadow & Bone, Siege & Storm, and Ruin & Rising, AND will include a collectible poster-size MAP of the Grishaverse by Keith Thompson. These paperbacks include Mal’s Letter, “The Tailor” (Genya’s POV chapter), and “Demon in the Wood” (a Darkling prequel story). Also a whole lotta interviews with me.
All of them go on sale September 27th. Pretty sure you can skip work or school that Tuesday and just claim a Grisha holiday. It’s federal law.
(And if you preorder, save your receipts cuz there WILL be preorder goodies coming.)
Four months to go. It’s gonna be real hard not to give away spoilers before then.
