I got a theory regarding what could happen in the future chapters and what story arc might be about.

okay so the next 4 chapters seem to have a continuous story , chase sneaks somewhere (probably the ex libris base or the place we seen in the parts with the old man) then he's looking at something horrified so it's definitely something serious and then the next 2 chapters we see what seems to be a human buddy next to chase so my theory goes that somehow buddy is back to being human (probably something to do with whatever happens in "The Old Man and the Sea" since they seem to be on the outside from the fact we see wave with his cloak on) but Story Arc gives us nothing

so here's my theory for it

since buddy is probably back to being human , there is no one villain key so what if the confused chase is his reaction to the creation of a new villain key or the return of the old one , something magical seems to be happening around chase so something is definitely happening

but this is just a theory , a Cinderella boy theory

i keep telling myself i should calm down but then you disappear for five minutes and suddenly my head is full of the worst things imaginable. i start thinking maybe you found someone softer. someone easier. someone who doesn’t watch every little change in your typing style like it’s life or death. i hate how badly i need your attention. i hate how good it feels when i get it.
