The black outline of the hair is definitely too thick but I tried something and it didn't work out - I'll know for next time😊

100% failed my art streak, but I was told by a friend to take a break for a week and come back to it after - using the time to absorb my favourite media and tbh, I think it's amazing advice!

I'll hopefully be back at it with a different perspective by the end of the weekend😊

✨ Day 9 of my art streak ✨

I didn't have much time today, so I just did a quick tracing study of some yoga poses I found online!🤍

I don't think I was too successful, but I am glad that I gave it a go!✨🤙

I might do single body part tracing next time! I feel like my scope with all of my art has been pretty large and I should really try to narrow it down and go from there.🩷💫🪐

With that said, I think if I can change my random daily paper doodles to anatomy practice, then I may find it more enjoyable as a learning experience, since it's then only a side thought✨✨

I won't have much time tomorrow but I might go out and grab a notebook and pen/highlighter while I'm out. Doing digital art isn't super easy if I'm out all day, rip :/😭

I wanna be careful from now regarding making art as to ensure I don't burn out so I might work on smaller pieces for the next few days ♥️♥️

I used yesterday's artwork as a base for this one. I'm unsure if I prefer it, but it definitely is a bit more technical in regards to shading/lighting💡💡☝️☝️

I think I'll work on it again some time soon and amo up the shading contrast so the galaxy feels more powerful ✨✨✌️

I also 100% should change the position of the left leg, because even though it is implied to be in the white void space, it definitely could use some work 🤍🤍

I just couldn't get the shading right and it was 100% a hit to my ego rip😭😭

Aside from the wrist, the proportions are pretty decent. I didn't have a picture reference for this (very incomplete) piece✨

I did have a reference in the form of a "how to draw hands" diagram. I didn't trace it or anything, but after toying around using that tutorial, I started changing it and modelling it after my own hand which I think helped with proportions.
