I like the Mets, which is usually quite painful, but they’ve been kind of 🔥 lately! Anyway, I made these logos in R {ggplot2} and next I have to make some with perler beads and/or cross stitch.

I made my first ever map of Westeros to prove that the Starks won the Game of Thrones! Especially Sansa. Bran might be a villain but who cares, f*ck the 6 kingdoms. I choose to believe Jon is an unofficial leader of the land north of The Wall even though he doesn’t want it.

I still love Game of Thrones, but I don’t love these short seasons. They try to trick us with the long episodes, but we still don’t get nearly as much total time as we did in seasons 1-6. Maybe Daenerys losing her mind would have made more sense if her time in Westeros wasn’t so rushed?

I’ll be mad about season 8, episode 4 for a while. I don’t even want to talk about some of it, but I do want to talk about direwolves, and how Jon Snow is an idiot. HE DIDDN’T EVEN PAT GHOST ON THE HEAD AND CALL HIM A GOOD BOY WHEN HE GAVE HIM TO TORMUND. Jon Snow knows NOTHING.

Still can’t believe there are actual people on the internet calling Arya Stark a Mary Sue, as if she’s not literally a highly trained assassin? FOH. Not today. I got a list of her kills so far from thewrap.com. Expect that season 8 number to go up at least a little (hi, Cersei! 👋!)

Check out King Robb Stark making the list, even though he hasn’t been on since season 3! 🐺👑😭 Everyone else is alive, as of the most recent episode 🙏.

I see a lot of charts and visualizations about the NBA but not the WNBA so I decided to web scrape WNBA data and make my own. Then my brother who is a sports analyst just offered to send me more data so this may or may not become a part-time WNBA chart account 🏀📊

Maybe I’m being overly cautious but I didn’t want to spoil Game of Thrones for anybody who might still be catching up so I decided to make charts about the show’s rankings on IMDb rather than the subject matter. 15% of all episodes of GoT so far are rated 9.7 or higher on IMDb! A lot of season 6 and season 4, and a lot of later in the season episodes. And of course a lot of violent episodes like The Rains of Castamere, which I’ve been crying about for almost 6 years now. Check out the rankings for all episodes, separated by season, to see how the final two episodes tend to get ranked pretty high.

I web scraped the Food Network to figure out the best days to catch Guy Fieri on one of his many shows. It’s Friday, with Wednesday making a strong showing for second place.
