What game is better in terms of narrative and characters? goodbye volcano high or snoot game?

Goodbye Volcano High by a very wide margin. The best I can say about Snoot Game is it has the potential to be mediocre. Really the worst part about SG is that there was clearly far more effort and thought put into it being effective propaganda and loosely resembling a compelling story than anything else. It just tries to have all the aspects it needs to in order for it to be plausible for a not technically untrue summary to sound like an interesting and nuanced plot. But it doesn't try to be interesting or nuanced in and of itself.

But GVH is everything SG pretends it is without trying to spread anti-trans propaganda. I've struggled so much with trying to write an essay about it because it's so hard to do it justice. There's more depth to even unexplored characters like Rosa, Stella, and Sage than even to most of the main cast of SG. Reed demonstrates this perfectly. In GVH, he's a very creative and intelligent kid who buys into the meteor ending their world before anyone else does, but when he's proven right, he doesn't feel vindicated or anything. He's just as depressed from it as anyone, but even so, he tries to channel that into using his creative skills to cheer his friends up and give them as much emotional closure as he can. In SG, he's a goofy stoner. In what world am I supposed to look at these two depictions and think the latter is more interesting and nuanced?
