I knew something was special about today. Was writing down 3/27 and realized I was missing something important. Today is our… 3rd Djangoversary? 4th?

I know I missed the last one, but… Well, I guess I’ll just say it’s 4th until I sort this out. -cue embarrassment- Anyway, Happy Django Reinhardt Anniversary!

Later this evening is Nisan 1 as well. Happy Year 5777? 5778?  See, this one I’m not too sure as well. I just know later this evening’s Nisan 1. -cue more embarrassment-

At first I thought that Darwin having a straight mid-string and a headbutt at the end of his string was counter-intuitive since a headbutt seems more of savage-like move while a proper straight is a product of supreme human intellect, which is basically the defining characteristic of, well, humans. But I guess a headbutt is just an easier way of saying that homo sapiens are literally good at using their heads.

Regardless, this is such a cool idea though. I hope something like this comes out as a real game in the future. Lol.

Other half and son are out having some fun under the sun. The rest of the family's out and about as well. I've no one to eat with. :U

So... lunch today was:

51/3 push-ups

54/3 knee-to-elbow planches

90/3 leg raises

60/3 jump squats

approx. 5 - 7 mins. jump roping

11/7/17: Dream

Yesterday, I had a dream about you again, DL. It was funny. The dream was about me and you finally expressing our feelings. Obviously, I know mine were genuine and yours were my best -and even hoped for- assumptions on how you felt about me with the spare time we had together.

It was a nice dream. Actually, that was probably the nicest dream I’ve had in a long while. I can’t remember the last time I saw myself smile in my dreams nor the last time a dream made me feel really pleased. It was sweet. Sweet as a touch of sugar. It was fragrant. Fragrant as the dawn breeze. 

Once again, I’d like to emphasize that it was a dream. A funny dream. Funny when considering my current situation now; living with a mother and son. It was a dream that I never asked to dream. But I still thought it was funny. One of life’s brutal punchlines.

All in all, taking both it’s pleasantness and brutality, I liked that dream. And I think it’s probably the best way to end whatever relation or bond I was able to grow with you (...if there ever was one). Hanging. Just leave it there. Hanging. In the back of my memories, holding on to reality by the fingertips. I’d like you to stay there, in my dreams. 

Perhaps it is for the best, and maybe how it should be. I can no longer be a part of your life, and I think I shouldn’t be. Well, in fact, I haven’t been for years. What’s more is that I don’t think I was ever really a part of it... But I do wish you the best: To find a happiness similar to what I’ve been blessed with.

Meanwhile, I’ll be here, hoping that someday I’ll see you in my dreams again.
