rosemary’s grief was beautifully portrayed, as well as jack’s and sophie’s. i felt like they really got the way grief is different for everyone down perfectly, and it was so sad watching rosemary’s mental state deteriorate especially after jack disappeared. felix was… oh my god he’s horrible???? threatening to file a restraining order against rosemary??? after you literally killed her kids??? wtf???

the deer imagery for jack was AMAZING i love the way you saw the deer with a shot in its head and then at the lake when jack disappeared there’s a deer strung up in his place. that’s so smart im in awe

as for bon, i genuinely think there’s a high chance that jack is bon in some capacity. he comforted rosemary, and unlike susan, he didn’t go for the kill right away. they talked for quite a bit and it was very familiar if that makes sense? though im wondering if that’s because ‘bon’ sees himself as bon so to him it’s only natural he treats sha with love? imo everything points to jack being bon but im not like 100%

this was just perfect, and the shadow man following rosemary in the shot before her conversation with bon is really nice attention to detail. i love how they had call backs especially to that one scene where bon looks back and forth, i loved seeing that. and i think my theory from a few years back that shadow man is felix only got stronger with what we learned from his interrogation, since he was there at 4 when the police arrived.

jack and rosemary’s relationship was so… oh my god i genuinely grieved them so bad. everyone is flawed but it seems like they were genuinely happy in that video soph played, and that they were both good partners and okayish parents despite their mistakes, at least prior to edd and molly. i definitely think it’s odd how sophie only sees her father as violent, but im glad that neither parents are saints. it adds smth idk

it’s so sad seeing sophie’s scene with rose in the attic, it hit close to home and i felt so bad for her consistently. being that young and watching your parents virtually destroy themselves is such. a horrible thing. i love her sm

i’m so excited to see what comes next. this episode was beautifully made and so worth the wait and i LOVED the voice acting. i’d love to hear other people’s perspectives while i wrap my head around all the clues.
