I believe that Camp Jupiter needs to get on its knees and thank the gods that Luke didn't discover the place. Because if he did, he'd be hell-bent on tearing it down by hook or crook.

There is one main reason I think there had to have been a Roman liaison for Kronos/Saturn.

There is no way Luke wouldn’t have laid eyes on Beryl Grace’s little clone with Thalia’s eye without going feral.

Luke wholeheartedly believed Thalia would have joined him. He would have done everything in his power to make her happy. But he thought she was dead (hence the tree poisoning). So he would have kidnapped Jason so fast and been like “I’m your dad now.”

Especially after Thalia came back. He would have tried to get Thalia even more mad at the gods by telling her that Hera didn’t kill Jason.

That he was alive and alone and treated like nothing more than a soldier.

Katie Gardner is the daughter of Demeter, goddess of agriculture and bringer of order. Katie is so Type A that she read parenting books to teach herself how to take care of her siblings when she became counselor because regulation=success.

Fanfic idea:

Toddler Jason arrives at Camp Jupiter after him time in the woods with Lupa. The then-current nineteen year old praetors have absolutely no idea what to do with a kid that young but they don’t really have a choice in the matter once he’s already there.

None of the cohorts want to take in a soldier who still requires nap time, so the praetors raise him themselves with some child soldier/teen parent/found family absolute fucking chaos

jason's 13 years at the super disciplined camp and several years as a leader of said camp mean it is very unlikely that he is any shade of feral, except for maybe a few minor idiosyncracies that all camp jupiter kids have because they all spent time at the wolf house, but since they all have these traits, they might be considered cultural rather than feral. however, annabeth chase, who was famously left alone until she was seven and was raised by an ancient greek horse man that used to live alone on a mountain, a barely sober god of mental illness, several other mythical beings based on animals, and approximately 37 different traumatized, exhausted, and desperate teenagers at an unregulated summer camp where she learned how to be scary by studying greek monsters, would definitely be somewhere near feral.
