LONG POST BUT WORTH IT:

So I tried to post this earlier but I didn’t have service. I’ve been traveling solo for a week and today I was wandering around Prague (keep in mind I’m only here less than 48 hours). I was keeping a busy schedule but wanted to see the Hungar Wall.

As I reach the top of the hill, i see a cute dog and a boy lying in the grass with it. The dog is running around but the boy is super relaxed and chill, just minding his own business. I want to pet the dog but I’m too shy so I walk past. As I past, I see that the boy looks like familiar.

I casually ask if I can pet the dog (because now I need to know). As I pet the dog, I ask his name. I kid you not, he says “I’m Michi”. I keep my composure and say “this is going to sound weird but are you an actor?” He says yes and says he is filming right now in the city. I finally ask if he was in Druck and he smiles and says yes.

I met freaking Michelangelo. I say that I’m a fan and basically have small talk about Prague and how he has to be there for 4 months and it’s not as exciting (which I agreed, it has a more mature taste and is hard to find things to do for younger people such as myself). The whole time he was smiling and his English was phenomenal.

In the end, I expected a handshake but he hugged me and smiled at me. I said it was nice to meet him and walked off before he could see that I was shaking. He’s been a super influential person in my life (despite being so young) and my coming out. Honestly I almost didn’t go to the Hungar Wall today or at all but I am so glad I did.

My friend katrin has a 3 year old daughter who also watches Druck. This was the conversation:

Katrin: I wanna say hi from my 3 year old daughter. I told her I'll go to Berlin to meet david and matteo. And she asked me if we would go to the empty pool together.

Lukas: Awww. You can tell her we went there together in our minds. Do you watch druck with her?

Katrin: Yes, every time when she sees matteo and David she tells me they are sooo in love.

Lukas: Aww, that's true. I wish somebody would love me as much.

Tua thought the casting call was a joke because there’s no hijabi women on TV, even less hijabi actresses so she couldn’t believe it was real at first.

Lukas was very critical of the remakes because he is a big fan of OG. He was skeptical of Druck but admitted that the acting felt way more natural than anything else in German TV when he watched the first couple seasons. He really got interested because the casting call specifically looked for a trans actor. He did his screen test with Anselm because Michi was not available and Anselm actually makes a great Matteo!

Carl said that Stefan was a great boyfriend to Hanna to which Luise said HE COULD BE A GREAT DADDY and Lily was like DONT SAY THAT EWW!

Tua said her favorite thing about Amira was how strong she is, way stronger than she is herself.
