“They finally came in!” She said excitedly as she was bouncing. “They’re so much fun. I thought they stopped selling these.”
“The hell is that? Is this like that Arthur episode when he buys the moon boots or whatever?”

“Thank you! I’m glad someone understands where I’m coming from. It’s weird to think that when the baby is finally an adult I’ll be in my forties. I don’t even understand why he’s excited, honestly.” Stassi shook her head at the thought. Although, she was so exhausted that all her frustration at the situation was slowly turning into indifference. “Econometrics?–Oh god, you sound like you need the coffee way more than me.”
“It’s weird. Cause on the one hand your sibling bond would be more like parent-child than sibling cause you’re an adult. Also, the whole ‘I’m not gonna make the same mistakes the second time around’ is gonna hang in the air, whether it’s mentioned out loud or not.” David rubbed the back of his neck, chuckling. “I’ve had time to wonder about these things. Like during study breaks.” He gave a shrug. “Nah, I can sleep after my exam. I’m just not someone who studies a few hours each day.”

“I need a large coffee or maybe just a bunch of espresso shots.” Stassi couldn’t even control her yawn as she rubbed her sleepy eyes before speaking once more. “My father calls me at three in the morning and I was thinking that something bad had happened. It turns out that he just wanted to tell me his girlfriend is pregnant and get this…he was angry when I didn’t sound excited.–Why couldn’t he have called at a decent hour?!” An exasperated sigh left her lips, before she turned to the other. “Wanna get some coffee with me?”
“Why would he think you’d be excited? I mean, it’s weird being grown-up and then poof you got a half-brother or sister who will probably be only a few years older than your own kids. Humanity is confusing sometimes.” David shrugged. “Coffee sounds great. I was pretty much up all night studying for my Econometrics exam.”

“Should, is the operative word there and I’m not asking for proof, but I’m willing to bet you do. You have that vibe,” she insisted, delivering a snarky smile. “What– are you gonna pass out colored eggs and shit? Face it, you guys are in the hole at least until Forth of July.”
“You can go home now.” He shook his head, finally standing up from the hard concrete. “That’s not a bad idea, actually. Easter’s gotten a little secular these days anyways.”

“Don’t get your tighty whities in a twist, Davey. You can only go up from here, right,” she encouraged, the condescension blatant in her voice. “So when’s the next rager? I’ll be sure to wear orange next time.”
“Okay no one over ten should wear tighty whities.” David rolled his eyes even harder this time. “Haw Haw. Very funny. I don’t think we’ll even have the chance to throw another party until...I don’t know. Easter? Does Easter get a party?”

She laughed lightly as she turned her head to look at him, “it’s not a sign from above, it’s just a coincidence.” She sighed, “if it helps I can’t get into my place either.”
“It doesn’t. No one would be locked out of the houses if it weren’t for whatever caused the lock-down. Which, I guess, just happened to happen on the night we throw a party.”

alana was walking out of the house when she caught the end of his conversation with the cops, “no one is putting the blame on you guys, you know?” she spoke quietly as she looked at the scene in front of them, “it could have happened at any of the frat houses not just Nu Sigma.”
David nodded, not looking up. “But it did happen here. It was our party, and that’s gotta be a sign from above or something.” He finally stood back up, turning to face Alana. “And now I can’t even go back inside my own house.”

Bianca slid her way over near him once the officer walked away, an amused smile on her face. “Someone’s about to lose their position, huh? It was a solid effort, I’ll give you that,” she admitted, still surprised the Sigma boys had the nerve to throw one in the first place.
David looked over his shoulder, eyes rolling. “Thanks for your support, B. Always a ray of sunshine with you.”

“Do I-what?” David turned to face Wyn. “Swimming? In the middle of the night?” He paused for a moment. “Maybe, if I can drink this night into oblivion and drown my sorrows. Metaphorically.”

“Yeah, you’re telling me. No, I don’t have anything to hide other than this entire party. Well, I’ve learned my lesson: don’t throw parties. Ever.”

“This is my house, my frat’s party. I’m social chair. This reflects poorly on me but also on Nu Sig. This sucks.”

“You pissed at the police too?” Sam asked having already been sitting on the steps when he sat down. “This is all completely fucked.”
“I’m pissed at whoever ruined this night. Everything was going well until the lockdown.” David sighed, looking around at the flashing lights. “First we were all stuck in the house, and now we’re stuck outside the house.”

Biting her nails as she listening to him, she shook her head, not knowing what to do at this point. Both seemed impossible for her to do at the moment. But as much as it pained her to say, she knew what Danny would want her to do. “Danny would want me to get rid of the drugs honestly. He’d be more pissed if I knew they were searching and did nothing to help him.”
David let out a heavy sigh. Getting into Danny’s room to get the drugs would save the house a lot of trouble. “If I get caught I swear Danny is dead.” He started for the entrance of the house, watching for someone to yell at him. It seemed they had moved to the interior of the house, not watching the door. Which meant they were most likely upstairs. “I don’t think I can buy you more than ten minutes. So you’ll have to work fast. Are you sure you want to risk this for your brother?”
