Up to Kuro Neko in my rewatch, and genuinely Adrien giving up his miraculous wasn’t even ONLY because he’s in love with Ladybug, and it’s upsetting that Marinette just assumes that’s always what the only issue is whenever Cat Noir is upset.

Imagine finding an escape from your neglectful father, by being a superhero, and eventually your superhero partner (who you just happen to be in love with) starts slowly neglecting you, and all of a sudden your escape is no longer an escape because you’re just always being neglected by people you care about 😭😭
