    His eyes widened, actually frightened for a change. He had never seen the merchant act this way. Well, except for the time a group of bandits burned some of her supplies… But this was different. A hand came up to gently make her release her hold on him.

    “Why don’t we take this inside my tent? We are outside of this… And I don’t think we should be making this kind of scene.”

     Carefully he led her inside. This was a dangerous situation… She was acting so possessive… Had she feelings for him? Was that what this was about? Had he lead her on somehow? He wasn’t sure. He couldn’t help that his body reacted the way it did. How could it not with as attractive as she was?

    “Anna, you should know of anybody, why I’m afraid to go through with this. How many times have I opened my heart to you about why I’m afraid to enter into a relationship with someone I care for? Before you even say it, no, I wouldn’t want it to be a one night stand or even some sort of friends with benefits thing… I think too much of you to do such a thing.”

Anna backed Ike to his bed and forced him to sit. From there she climbed onto his lap so that he’d have to be rough in order to escape. The entire time her gaze had remained fixed on his.

 “That is precisely why you will listen to me this time.” Anna commanded. Her hands came to rest on Ike’s cheeks and the her gaze lost some of its edge. “I know your fears, I accept them. I’m glad you think so much of me, but it’s precisely because of that care you have for me that I’ve been in this predicament for months.” The red head explained. “Even I have my secrets and fears.
