More than 650 ACLU staffers signed a petition calling on the free speech organization to decry the ongoing war and divest from Israel.
claiming you refuse to divest because "weighing in on this international matter is beyond the ACLU’s remit" and "it is not the ACLU's practice to take positions on overseas conflicts" but actually you HAVE taken positions on overseas conflicts in the past including divestment in south african apartheid and opposition to the vietnam war, and turns out the actual reason is it would have a very significant deleterious impact on your investment portfolio… as a nonprofit civil rights organization………… lmao!!!!!!!!

“No full interpretation of Une semaine de bonté has ever been published. The book, like its predecessors, has been described as projecting ‘recurrent themes of sexuality, anti-clericalism and violence, by dislocating the visual significance of the source material to suggest what has been repressed.’"

Thank you so much everyone for your support!! So far, we have $280, which is great!!
As winter is approaching, it becomes more and more urgent for us to raise enough $8000 for the 8 artist families in Gaza. Please, please, please donate if you can, or spread the word about the campaign! Not only is this an achievable goal, you'd be helping 8 different families at a time as we will be splitting the funds between them.
Any amount is much appreciated. Of course, I wouldnt be asking you all to donate without doing so myself, I'll be donating $20 within a few days. But even as little as $2 at a time when you're able will make a BIG impact!
Thank you so much for your support as always, and I hope we can raise to $1000 by the end of this week! Please spread the word even outside of tumblr!
