Honestly, I think this is an important aspect of their dynamic. I'd call it more of a show of trust than a lack of manners. Shou wouldn't barge in through a random window, and Ritsu wouldn't let a random guy through his window. I like this specific act, which shows their trust and affection. Shou can act however he wants because that's what appeals to Ritsu, and Ritsu doesn't have to be on guard because Shou has already proven his trustworthiness.

why do people ship antinous and telemachus???

Well, at the very least, the transition from enemies to lovers implies broad dramatic potential, and that's already pretty cool. Besides, I think Telemachus and Antinous in epic are quite compelling characters to explore, ones that can be delved into, including by pairing them with each other. This doesn't always mean strictly adhering to canon (though some works explore that, and that's cool, too), which is fine. Ultimately, we create and consume content for our own satisfaction, first and foremost. Some things on the internet just need to be taken more lightly; for some, it might just be fun, without any deeper motivation.

Personally, As long as it's not forced, I wouldn't care, But I'd prefer him to have some sort of bromance with Gumball instead, Anything can happen in this series

i wouldn't mind if they did or didn't. obviously i'm a pengumrob shipper but in terms of what's genuinely canon or likely to become canon, i'd love rob being aroace as an aroace person myself. i don't know why but i agree that it feels pretty unlikely for him to get a love interest. if he did date someone in canon though, it would probably be Sarah

I love Pengumrob so much, but I never expected them to be canon. I won't love them any less, but, like... it would probably be too weird even for this show. The creators could have included a polyamorous relationship, of course, but it would probably have remained in the background, not affecting the main characters. Rob isn't exactly a character who needs a love interest, he already has a complex and interesting conflict, a romantic subplot would seem like too much. It's cool and sweet when it's fan-made, but the show itself does just fine without it, without losing anything.

Although I still hope that in season 7 they will add interactions between Rob and Penny, as two characters who have a big influence on Gumball's life, but this time without Gumball himself. Penny is Gumball's girlfriend, Rob is his arch-enemy who tried to kill him, I don't expect any super development of their relationship, love or friendship, just a little bit of screen time together, because I wonder how their dynamics could be used in a humorous way or to develop the plot through this interaction. I'm sure these two have something to say to each other. Oh, and you know, that whole redesign and self-acceptance thing that they both have.

Well, I think this can be considered their common scene but I mean more than that.

y'all (gumrob haters) are wrong for simplifying gumball and rob's canon dynamic down to pure hatred. just like rob himself, it's nuanced, it's more complicated than that, and it changes over time!

in The Ex, for example, rob is relatively nice because he's guilty about the events of The Disaster/Rerun. at the beginning he clearly cares about gumball's feelings and handles the "breakup" delicately. then, even though he's annoyed, he maintains impressive patience throughout the day. even while crashing out at the end of the episode, the most violent thing he does is shake him by the shoulders. that's very tolerant and it shows that their relationship is not "one-sided" as many people say!

and then in The Spinoffs, even though he officially "hates" gumball again, his plan is so tame that it's not really evil at all. gumball probably never knew it happened.

the only reason he seems to revert back to "evil" after that is because his priorities change. in The Future he's rightfully very stressed, and it makes sense that he's willing to harm a few people in the name of stopping the literal apocalypse

basically, rob and gumball show too much mutual kindness and interest to actually hate each other. i honestly think that, when the situation is light and casual, they secretly enjoy interacting! otherwise, they wouldn't both go out of their way to meet sometimes

how are rob fans so bad at realizing that rob is a complex person. he's not a bad person. he's not a good person. he's NUANCED! you objectively cannot put him in a black-and-white category and that's what makes him cool!!

He's really messed up in his life, i think, like, his existence is really a mess. I had too many thoughts about him, but when I started writing it out, I got confused myself, to be honest. But the conclusion is the same: Rob is a truly complex character. Maybe one day I'll gather my exploded brain and express my thoughts without embarrassment.

I would like to see more headcanons about Rob's family because it's really interesting what they could have been like if they existed. I've seen a few fanfics speculating on this, but still not enough. I myself have a fanfic in the process of being written that also touches on this topic, albeit in a slightly different context, but it’s always interesting to know what others think about it.
