FINALLY! I’m cutting it pretty close but I actually finished a ship week and I only want to throw two of my “entries” into a pit of flames!! Wow!!
This one was the one I was most excited for tbh- I’m so happy to have it done! I hope you all like it, hopefully it isn’t too ooc~

Aaaaaaaand here comes the last entry for the Dazatsu Halloween event! It’s a little late because life, and stuff, you know, but it’s finally done! Hope you like it, it’s a light piece to finish the week on a cute note! (Can you tell I’m a big scaredy-cat and just CANNOT DEAL with horror stuff? haha)
I would like to thank the mods who made this event possible, Cherish, Datura and Mango, thank you soooo much, I had so much fun writing all these stories! It got me out of my writing comfoort zone and made me explore genres or themes I probably wouldn’t have explored on my own. Thank you!!
Now that I’m done, I’ll be reading through all the other works submitted and enjoy eveyone’s hard work!

Dazushi Halloween Week
Day 7 (31/10): Halloween Eve // Free day
WARNING: MENTIONS OF SELF HARM AND ABUSE
The room was illuminated by the light of a candle. Dazai heard soft crying in the corner, the crying of someone who was told to hold in tears. Atsushi was huddled into the corner as if he wanted to disappear. Dazai awkwardly sat next to him, wrapping his arm around Atsushi’s small shoulders. He knew that Atsushi had been bullied for his entire life, but the words said by Akutagawa yesterday had really stung.
“Nobody wants you, just die already.” The words echoed through Atsushi’s mind. Sometimes he wished it could all go away, if only. All the scars covering his arms were deep enough to kill, but still would heal. Dazai had a way of giving him hope and making him feel wanted. Dazai had saved him from starvation and given him a home.”You are needed,” said Dazai and Atsushi’s eyes widened. “Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.
