I woke up from yet another Zolu dream! Omegaverse edition!

How it went: Luffy (Omega) was asleep with a green-haired baby on his chest. The baby started being fussy, which made him woke up. He quickly realized what was wrong. The scent on the baby blanket the baby was holding was faded.

Next to him in their nest, he nudged Zoro (Alpha) awake to tell him about it. Zoro complies and rubs the blanket over his neck's scent glands and gives it back. Their child grabs the blanket, now calmed down, and falls back asleep. Luffy thanks him and places his head in the crook of Zoro's neck, before falling asleep.

Zoro didn't fall back asleep. He was too busy nearly crying out of happiness at the family they made.

I desperately need more pining Luffy, I get why it's usually Zoro but just imagine Luffy sticking around him way more often than usual, watching him as he fights, being flustered when he takes off his shirt (which I realize now he does weirdly often 👀 toei animators I know what you are)

Also imagining an oblivious Zoro not understanding why his captain suddenly has something to do in the same room as him when he works out UGH they're so cute! There's so much potential there!

What the fuck is up with the whole concept of ship names being the top in the first part and the bottom second?

The fact that there's been actually arguments made about this is insane to me. The way I see it, just say whichever feels right on the tongue.

Top, bottom, switches, power bottom, service top, who cares?? (I know there are people who care though.)

At the end of the day, we all just want our otps to bone.

The concept came from the tagging system in East Asia fandom if I'm not mistaken, but I think it's a good thing.

It really matters for some people because the flavor is different depending on which character between the two that we long for or we'd like to be taken care of, be desired of, or even to be impregnated (usually this character would be the bottom). Also some people have preference on who's top or bottom and these tags help us to navigate so we'd all have the same fun without accidentally displeasing the other fan despite liking the same characters in our OTPs.

So please respect it and act accordingly. You'd know how it feels someday.

As a ZoLu shipper the post war arc after the flashback story is just pain nothing but pain.

Like Zoro being mentioned first because he was first in 505 got me and 506 is where we finally get our crew mate check in and I just know Zoro is gonna take the news the worst because he couldn't be there to help protect Luffy and now Luffy's god knows where in multiple kinds of pain and he still can't be at his side.

Going back and reading the manga, the first meeting of a Luffy and Zoro will always be something that is funny but also a moment I treasure. Them meeting was the moment I knew they were ment for each other, Luffy refusing Zoro's refusal is really funny because Luffy just gained a best friend and a future partner by refusing him.

After Sabody, Luffy and Zoro got back into their old habit of sleeping on each other, but while Zoro was awake he noticed that Luffy would have his ear pressed against his chest, at frist Zoro thought it was cute untill it became a thing where Luffy couldn't sleep if he wasn't laying on Zoro listing to his heart beat.

All while it was getting a bit concerning Zoro didn't ask untill a few weeks later. Luffy's reason, because before Ace died he ears started ringing so he could hear his heartbeat, which was comforting untill it wasn't, his heartbeat was gone almost instantly and that's what scared him, not being able to hear Zoro's heartbeat.

Zoro continued to let Luffy sleep on his chest but from then on, he held Luffy just a bit tighter
