some say the Moon is cold and bleak, with nothing there to live for
but those who have Bin say the Moon is sweet; his warmth comes deep from his core
the Moon embraces us with the warmest of smiles, he shows us much we are adored
and when the Moon disappears each day at dawn we feel a sadness that cannot be ignored
we long for the Moon, for his light, for his love, we wish until our hearts grow sore
we seek to bathe in his cooling light, to feel ourselves restored
we seek to hear his song again, a heavenly encore
yet the stars have called their Moon back home, they wait with an open door
the Moon has grown weary; let him rest his head and heart until he starts to snore
your heart may clench, your eyes may sting but it's a feeling you must endure
for the love given and received when we reunite will be eternal, forevermore
we have Bin to the Moon, seen his face, known his name, what more could we implore?
well Binbinna I've been threatening to post this post the poem I wrote for you & here we are 2 years later, here it is! yes, I KNOW you hear it all the time, you'll probably hear it for the rest of my life until we're reunited on the Moon, so just get used to it!
