So with the little oni April fools thing in dbd it had me thinking about the other killers with their favorite survivor turned tiny and I had a few thoughts with Danny, like him calling us Doll, Tiny, Bunny, Bite Sized etc. Him just carrying us around and holding us so close and tight like a toy, him saying how cute we are and how he could just eat us up. Meanwhile reader might pass out from fear or lack of oxygen from cuddles

This was an interesting ask, and it was pretty fun to think what could I do about it. Thank you anon!

My entry for Dead by Daylight’s cosmetic contest this year! I just submitted it with less than a day to spare 😅. I realized my other design would break some rules so I scrambled to put this together but I’m happy with it!

I really hope people know what I was going for with the design, I took inspiration from the game of Chess as well as medieval tapestries depicting unicorns. His sword is more like a lance used for jousting.

Now obviously "horror with sexual themes" is extremely broad. Not all of it is Good. Like the misogyny in 80s slashers or those occasional art films that expect you to be scared of women's sexuality in itself. I fucking hated antichrist sorry. But yknow. The thing is that horror is kind of About exploring what's nasty and shocking, societal fears, what we're Not Supposed To Talk About, & there's considerable overlap there with Sexuality. There is such a thin line between fear and arousal this is like, known. "Ermmm so this is Definitely Fetish Material" yeah? And?

Literally. People get so weird about the concept of "fetish material" like there are Secret Perverts lurking around infecting things with Horny Cooties. #adding on to this that a HUGE part of gothic horror is transgressive relationships. like it's a staple of the genre#part of the horror comes from depicting them. it's supposed to make you uncomfortable#and obviously whats considered transgressive changes over time. gay relationships used to be a big focal point of gothic romance#because at the time it was considered nasty and shocking and something we dont talk about#like this was around the same tine as oscar wildes gross indecency trial#personally i think it's fascinating to see how the genres changed over time because it reflects societys changing attitudes towards gross -#and nasty and shocking things We Dont Talk About
