FIVE QUESTIONS

Cornelius “CJ” Jackson is a skater/producer/DJ who recently made the move from his life-long home of Columbus, Ohio to The Big Apple. A self-described “poor kid with the gift of expensive taste” made the transition in the name of growth, both career and personal. What was your favorite cartoon/TV show as a kid?                                            Tough question! I’m going to have to call it a tie between Speed Racer and Transformers…but man…Transformers for the win!

What was your favorite cereal?                                                                                Raisin Bran.

What was the first record you bought?                                                                 The first recordI bought was actually a two part deal. When I got my first Walkman in 6th grade I went out and copped Limp Bizkit Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water and Blink182 Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. 

What was the first live show/concert you went to?                                                The Columbus Symphony Orchestra at the Ohio Theatre. First grade style.

What posters were hanging on your bedroom wall in high school?                  All skate posters. My favorite one was this poster from the Flip/Firm F’east tour. I had Mark Appleyard and Jeff Rowley autograph it so I was stoked on that.
