how to:always look put together
-stick to solid colors. black,olive,khaki,white,grey,navy,nude, etc. the options are endless. try to stay away from super loud colors.
-keep patterns to a minimal. if you do want to wear a pattern,keep it to a purse,nails or a scarf.
-always be properly groomed. have your eyebrows & nails done. have your hair washed and styled always (even if itās just a bun)
-if you have to go to an event last minute but donāt have time to do a full blown eye shadow look, just put bronzer in your crease and highlight the inner corners of your eyes.
-take care of your clothes & shoes! donāt wear anything with holes or anything dirty. if itās falling apart, throw it away.
-heels can make your outfit look more put together, even if youāre just wearing jeans.
-have at least ONE nice high quality jacket.Ā
-wear less jewelry. keep it to 2 pieces at most.
-when in doubt, wear black. itās easily styled and looks good.
-spray rose water or evian water on your face throughout the day to look moisturized and radiant.
-dark lipstick can make you look like you spent time on your makeup. if you donāt have time to beat your face, just wear a dark plum or red lippie along with some eyeliner and skip the shadow all together.Ā
-cotton,linen,and nice quality soft synthetic fabrics tend to look nicer than super hard, rough,plastic like ones.
-having all designer things is nice, but not always practical. having one or two designer things and a lot of regular clothes is better than breaking the bank and having only a few designer things and nothing else.
-have a few clothes tailored. alterations are your friend and can make inexpensive clothes look expensive (not to mention, itās cheap!)
