ChloĂ©  falls  in  love  first.   Okay   !  I  know  this  is  an  interesting  headcanon  and  one  that  I  donât  know  if  youâll  agree  with   ( and  Iâll  be  honest,   I  canât  remember  if  weâve  ever  decided  on  this  before  but  )  but  yes.   Not  only  is  it  important  in  their  relationship  for  ChloĂ©  to  love  him  sincerely  back,   she  needs  to  not  be  adored  by  him  first.   ChloĂ©  is  constantly  surrounded  by  people  who  would  do  anything  for  her,   who  are  pushovers  for  her,   who  idolize  her.   She,   herself,   believes  that  everyone  loves  her   !  At  least  on  the  level  of  self-reflection  that  she  is  comfortable  with  looking  at.   Thereâs  Nath,   right   ?  And  he  doesnât love  her.   Maybe  he  understands  her  a  bit  but  heâs  true  to  himself  and  she  bullied  him  and  was  a  little  shit.   Heâs  not  head  over  heels  for  her.   He  needs  to  see  her  become  a  better  person,   to  accept  that  she  has  flaws,   to  go  through  her  redemption  before  he  can  truly  come  to  appreciate  her  for  who  she  is.   Nath  tho,   heâs  already  great.   He  doesnât  need  to  fix  himself,   other  than  to  come  out  of  his  own  shell  a  bit.   Even  though  ChloĂ©  is  uncomfortable  with  love  and  real feelings,   she  falls  in  love  with  him  first,   because  heâs  great  and  heâs  kind  and  he  doesnât  treat  her  like  everyone  else.   And  then  she  changes  because  sheâs  in  love  and  she  wants  to  be  better  and  then  itâs  easy  for  him.
