“summer may be over in a few days, but it’s never too late for water games and besides, you look like you need a nice cool down.” dae stated, already spraying the other with her water gun. “oh, i’m so sorry, i didn’t mean that, but since you’re already wet.. what do you say? are you down for a little 1x1 water gun fight?”
“this is the cutest thing i’ve ever seen.” jessie had just finished reading the tenth thank you card she had gotten today from her child patients. she had only done small things like patch up their scraped knee or give them a lollipop after they got their shot, but she had always loved getting thank yous regardless. “this kid i helped today wrote me a thank you card and he called me nice and pretty and he also said i smell good. can you believe that? i truly don’t deserve these kids most of the time.”

“so, there’s a place an hour away from here that has a indoor trampoline park and we are going right now,” tara said as she went to grab for the person in front of her. she took their hand and started to drag them along. “i’ve always wanted to go to one! and i don’t want to do homework so let’s go!” she exclaimed, bouncing up and down.
“oh god, please don’t drag me with you.” sidney replied as she groaned when the brunette took her hand and ripped her away from her seat. “but whyy?” she asked, not at all excited about the indoor park.

“are you sure you don’t want a dog?” felix said as he held on to a small russel tarrier. it was squirming happily and wagging it’s tale as he pet over his back. “i found him a few days ago on the streets and he really wants a home. and i’m so tempted to just take him back home already but i don’t know how my other dogs are going to react to him. so…what do you say? you can’t really say no to this face.”
“oh, i’m sure.” jessie admitted despite petting the small pup. she has always wanted a small puppy but she knew that that wouldn’t sit well with her landlord. “okay, i’ll admit, i do kind of wanna keep him, but i don’t think my landlord will approve.”

“look… i don’t care what you’re doing, but i really need a drink right now and i don’t want to look stupid sitting at a bar by myself. so come with me, i can talk shit and you can listen all night. doesn’t that sound good?” wesley said as he pushed his books into his backpack. he was at the uni’s library, and he’s just had his fill of homework. now was the time for drinks.
“that sounds awful, but eh, i don’t really have anything else going on so i’m down.” jessie admitted with a small smile. she had just finished her shift at the hospital and she needed a few drinks especially after the last patient that she had.

August was still getting used to his new life in Auradon, while his life in Never land was far from anything ‘bad’ it was still very different. The worst part in the young teens mind though was the fact that Auradon had so very many rules. Everywhere he went it seemed there was yet another rule - or five that he needed to learn. Never land was far easier, the rules were few and the ones that there were all seemed to make sense. Here though, there seemed to be rules just because someone seemed to have gotten bored.
He glances up at the person speaking nearby, something about a rule book he’d need to read, “Wait.. you mean to say there are more rules!?” He couldn’t hide the groan as he flopped back down onto the grass, a heavy sigh escaping him.
Dae couldn’t help but let out a small laugh art the younger male’s reaction, she was no stranger to rules. Growing up in the Duck household, there were always many rules to keep a tame household. “Yes, but come on, their not that bad.” She reassured him. “And hey, if you can follow the rules for an entire day, I’ll give you a free cookie.”

It was still sometimes such an odd thing for her to think about, that just around a year ago she was still on the Isle, doing her best to protect her brothers and keep herself out of trouble at the same time. But here things were different, sure she still tried to protect her brothers but things were … easier. It was an odd thing to remind herself that it was okay to let her guard down sometimes.
Sometimes she still jumped at certain things, when people came up behind her she still tensed at times, and it was hard to break such habits after growing up with things being a certain way for as long as she could remember. Now though she was a grown adult, in a new life - she even had a job. A teacher of all things - a VK as a teacher of small children, not everyone agreed with such a thing she was well aware of that fact.
With a small sigh Samantha shakes her head, offering a small smile before speaking up, “Alright alright, what is it you wanted again?” she turns back to the person who had asked for her attention, trying her best to hide any irritation she might be feeling.
“I was asking if this was yours.” Adonia repeated herself, if someone else had found the thing that the other blonde had lost, there was no way that they’d return it back with whatever was inside of it still inside.

“why would you ever want to put yourself into a box like that? i don’t get it. people keep talking about heroes and villains but in a way, we’re all both really.” sebastian shrugged, just thinking about the fact that everyone has some good and bad in them.
“it’s just who i am, i guess. i don’t know if that’s true, no one seems to hate you guys for what your parents did and no one looks down on you either.” yzla admitted, she had always been insecure about herself due to others.

“Yes I do, actually.” Rose nodded and went to the bouquet section to retrieve a small bundle of daisies. Not just the classic ones, but it was a beautiful arrangement of daisies of all colours, it had reminded Rose of summer when she had put it together. “What do you think of these? They’re sure to make you feel like fall won’t come too soon.”
“Great!” Kala beamed, she knew her mother was a fan of unordinary things, so she knew that she’d love the rainbow of colors in this bouquet. She wasn’t a particular fan of daisies, they reminded her too much of the orphanage that she had stayed in when she was a kid, but she knew that her family would love them. “I think their absolutely wonderful.”

“i think it looks, eh… kind of too frilly for me,” kade said honestly. he didn’t know why he was in this store, but he needed some new clothes. he wasn’t fancy though, he was just trying to see what looked the best and wasn’t too cheap or too expensive. “but it doesn’t matter what i think. you think it looks good? get it.”
“what do you mean by too frilly?” mary asked curiously. she really didn’t care that the male didn’t like the hat, she was going to get it anyway, but she was curious as to why he disliked it. “i suppose that’s true, thank you.”

Sirene couldn’t help smiling around the woman, she seemed like a very kind person. Like it just radiated off of her. “Anytime,” she nodded. “I’m Sirene Triton,” she introduced herself. “I swear I don’t do this often, but some days just call for it, you know?”
Mary took a small sip of the drink, she wasn’t going to be that one person that chugged the first drink they’ve had in years. “Pleasure to meet you, Sirene.” she nodded. “I’m Mary Poppins.” she introduced herself as well. “I understand what you mean completely, a little kindness never hurt anyone every once in a while.”

Bee smiled, grateful for the water which she drank a generous portion of. “Thank you very much, I usually have one clipped to my belt.” The deputy nodded, thinking back to how her own childhood was. “They really do, I don’t know where it comes from. When I was young I just liked playing sheriff with my brother,” she chuckled.
“No problem, you looked like you needed it.” Mary admitted. “I just flew kites with my mother and my cousin.”

ethan smiled at his mother and nodded his head. the boy hated shopping, but he did love spending time with his family whenever he could. ❝ yeah, you’re probably right about that. sugar and the twins got your sense of fashion, I got stuck with DADS. ❞ he laughed and then sat back in the chair. ❝ the hat does suit you very well though, I think you should get it. ❞
“well, your dad had to pass something down to one of you.” mary admitted with a small laugh. “and at least, you don’t have to fight any of your sisters over a shirt like the girls do all the time when they wanna wear something old of mine.” she admitted. “i think it suits me too and it’s about time i change my outfit a bit.”

Ariel looked at it, catching the way it was intricately designed, the stitches neat, but meaningful. “Not bad. The blue really does bring out your eyes.” Sincere in every way, she smiled, catching sight of a blue broach behind the other woman. “I think this might finish off the look.”
“I thought so too, thank you.” Mary grinned, she was definitely feeling the hat, it was a totally different look from when she was younger but that’s the good of it. “It does look nice along with the outfit.”
