First Meeting
kiraDavid took a long sip of his coffee, careful not to spill it onto his lap as he had done so many other times before. He needed to have a clean set of pants and shirt today, it was after all an important day. Today was when the new interns were coming in, a group from which hopefully they would be choosing one or two (More likely one) to start a full time there at the company. Today was mostly about showing them around, letting them the expectations were high and set in first impressions. And while he wasn’t the CEO of the company, he was still high enough that he needed to be presentable and firm with the new interns. He was, after all, manager of the branch where they were at.
He slowly placed his cup down on his desk, and took one last look around his office to make sure everything looked in order. He had made sure to take down his Back To The Future and Star Wars posters down for the meantime, soon after the interns had adjusted (or quitted) he would hang them back up again and relax once more. But for now, he needed to be serious, though it wasn’t something that he exactly enjoyed very much. But for now, it was the part he had to play. And so with a small sigh, he headed down towards the elevator and into the first floor where he knew the group of interns would be gathered. And sure enough, there they were. “Good morning, and welcome to Fidealear. I’m David Ellis, manager and your tour guide today. Ready to go?” He announced as he signaled for them to follow.
