1922 Gallenga coat and dress. The topaz velvet coat has a repeating spade shape repeating pattern stenciled in gold, a smocked yoke and stand collar with a self-ruffle. There are two knotted velvet buttons, wide sleeves with a deep cuff open along the inseam joined by three millefiori buttons. The coat has a satin lining stenciled in a matching pattern along the front opening. The topaz sleeveless satin dress is stenciled in an overall Medieval foliate pattern with birds. It has a V-neck front and back, and streamers from the shoulders. There is a self-belt. From Kerry Taylor Auctions.
