Spent the past like 3 weeks reading Higurashi and i just finished it today. Wow that was so fun heres some stuff i drew along the way

I had a great time with higurashi i really enjoyed the characters. i would like to draw them more i definitely have enough ideas in my head but also im gonna start on umineko very very soon and i think i might get distracted by that lmao

A drawing I did around 2021/2 when I was way too invested in higurashi so I did this drawing of rika as a doll being watched and used, I like that idea since all she had to go through during the show, poor girl, she needed a break (a really really long one after all of that). Btw enjoy!

as I’ve gotten older and grown attached to other characters, it’s funny to me and I wonder just how Hanyuu became my comfort character as a teen 😭 personality wise she is not a character I’d typically gravitate towards, yet she still became a big and important part of my life (and tbh mental state at some times 😭)

that being said, even if my tastes in characters has changed a lot, I still consider her a very important character to me and I will always love her ✨ very crucial to my “lore” LMAO
