remember that love languages aren’t literally these five things!! acts of service don’t need to be huge, maybe it’s just allowing someone to rest without guilt by doing a few small chores, maybe it’s tucking them in when they fall asleep on the couch without a blanket. same with gift giving, words of affirmation, and all the rest!! words of affirmation can be as simple as “good job” and “i’m proud of you”, gift-giving can be little trinkets or food or taking someone to the thrift store and letting them loose on the racks. all of the love languages are intertwined, so maybe something is an act of service AND quality time, or gift-giving AND physical affection.
