This WIP is going to be a late Christmas present for one of my roommates. It’s my first attempt at double knitting, and so far it’s been a lot of fun!

@lunadax, double duty.
I’m sorry I didnt go to your funeral. I wanted to, but I was worried it would cause more upset than i wanted. Rae is no longer talking to me, which I wish she had so we could remember the times we had together. I really want to meet with Rae like we used to by the toby carvery all those times,Outwoods and the canal. but I dont think she wants to :/ I wish I’d known.
Milosav Druckmüller is, hands down, the greatest eclipse photographer in the world. Fact.

Hand Carved Wooden “Houseplants”
By Yuto-Yamasaki, via Spoon & Tamago.
The Department of Delicious Deception should know better than to try to eat wooden food, but the work of Japanese wood sculptor Seiji Kawasaki is so awesomely realistic, we just know they’re going to take a nibble at the earliest opportunity. Just look at these croissants, so flaky and buttery:
But they aren’t flaky, buttery pastries at all. They’re blocks of wood, hand-carved to the tiniest detail and painstakingly painted by Kawasaki. Each piece takes 2-3 hours to complete, some of which aren’t simply decorative. These red peppers, for example, function as chopstick rests:
Follow Seiji Kawasaki on Facebook or Twitter for many more photos of his astonishingly realistic woodcarving.

edit: I noticed that I have done an uh-oh and accidentally made a typo on Drogo’s card. +10 points to the first person that sends me anon hate about it

ok. i super needed this.
THIS. The whole world should watch this.
My lovely beardie Simon nearly choked to death 2 days ago on a locust, I gave him a bath and he wouldn't stay still running eratically side to side with his head up, and he then went limp. I noticed there was a mostly whole locust in his throat and a leg which I got out ( sadly lost my finger nail after he bit me HARD, not suprised as I was forcing his mouth open) he quickly went back to normal and breathing again ( thank fuckkk!) He is fine now but he could easily have not been. He had the same locusts as he always does and has never had a problem until now, I'll certainly be giving him smaller locusts from now on! It was terrifying! To all reptile owners, just be aware they can choke on food/ sand ( I didn't even know they could) make sure you watch them after eating just to make sure. I'd hate for anyone to loose their lizard this way.
