Magpie Rivenstone, my gnome paladin
Femme fatale from my webcomic, Pin Porter: Girl Detective
I made this comic for an anthology that fell through, but I still find it cute.
Lordy these are old but i realized I’d never actually posted them here.
One of the players in my d&d campaign met a tiny chromatic dragon, it was very cute
Hilda is delightful and everyone should go watch it right now
Some warmup character designs
Nothing but respect for MY general
Quick sketch of some witchy girlfriends
Tune in next Friday: new story arc, new character design, same faerie devilry

Long walk home
A quick portrait of my new D&D character, Halfing Rogue Tryll Burrowroot
Just some gal pals
Phoebe in the stacks
Love and Friendship is very good, and Kate Beckinsale makes a delightfully cunning and manipulative Lady Susan
There is a road that meets the road that goes to my house...
62/100 Dorothy Arzner was a film director whose career spanned from the 1920s silent through the rallies of the 1940s. She was the only female director working in the United States during the 1930s, and was the first woman to join the Directors Guild Of America. She started out as a script writer and film editor with Paramount Pictures, and her first job was editing the now famous classic Blood and Sand. After being employed on several other films, she threatened to move to Paramount’s rival Columbia Studios unless given a directorial position, which led to her first film, Fashions for Women. She then became the first woman to direct a talkie with The Wild Party, where she invented the boom mike by rigging a microphone onto a fishing rod to allow the actors to move more freely. She launched the careers of many actresses, including Katherine Hepburn, Rosalind Russell, and Lucille Ball. She spent the last 40 years of her life with her Very Good Friend, the choreographer Marion Morgan.
