Walking in a hot environment isnβt fun, and while Clementine knows this, she hasnβt adjusted to not needing to walk around all the time either- it only hits her when sheβs exhausted, usually when sheβs in the middle of a street and has to push on, but this time, sheβs lucky enough to have it hit when sheβs right besides the park bench.
She rests for however long it is-she doesnβt keep track-and her eyes open when she hears rustling in the tree beside her. She sees someone catch a bug in their hands, a hobby she hasnβt seen in years and a bug she canβt identify.
ββ¦What are you doing?β She speaks up, turning slightly to face them.
Β Β Handling insects with his bare hands is far from an issue for him, and catching them this way is always the more convenient route. Well, sometimes.Β It is in this instance, and despite the simple task, heβs intense about it β he makes an audibleΒ βhmphβ as he closes his hands around the little bug, a few leaves coming loose once he brings them back down.
He pauses at the voice, red eyes blinking over to find the girl it belongs to.Β
βOh!β Happy to indulge her curiosity, he turns to her with a smile. And, opening his hands, he reveals a type of weevil that is probably wondering what in the world just happened.
βI caught this bug.β
Although it's far from familiar to her, she still smiles seeing people have hobbies not central to their survival. Especially ones like this, where at home, well... Not only would it be a waste of time and energy, it'd also be too much noise to enjoy. She stares at the bug, watches it slowly walk around the hands it's caught in,Β
"What is that? Uh... The kind, I mean."
