things i learned from stranger things:

1- if you were an abused child once you grow up you either become the abuser or kill yourself

2- it doesn't matter if your boyfriend never showed you love you still have to accept him because you're both co-dependent

3- you never have to show any feelings at all, it doesn't matter if your parents are about to die you have to be hollow because nobody cares for that feelings bullshit

4- all a straight couple needed was each other but all a gay couple needed was to grow appart and get over each other

5- if you're gay all you have is self love, it doesn't matter if you proved yourself wrong and fell in love in the most strong way, your love doesn't matter and you only have to accept yourself because it's stupid to think your feelings will ever be reciprocated

6- trauma from black characters doesn't matter

7- addiction is funny and definetely not a way to escape reality or something you should look into with depth

8- having suicidal thoughts because of the guilt you carry is just a one-time-mention thing and not something to care at all (Max)

9- it doesn't matter how much effort you put to prove yourself to other you're still reduced to the trophy of two dudes who always get into macho fights for you

10- if you show signs of being neurodiverget you're annoying asf and nobody likes you (Robin)

11- you'll eventually become a womenizer because you never actually matured and still think about your high school gf who you only dated for months

12- your depression because of grief doesn't matter, you're just annoying and losing your mind (Dustin)

13- conformity is the only way out

14- "normality" wins, if you don't fit in then you have to force yourself to do so
