More impressions from the Visions of Atlantis concert ...

kids these days don’t know how lethal stagnant water is
If you’re exploring an abandoned building and find stagnant water your next sentence should be either “I am equipping my respirator” or “I am leaving”
It’s the 19th anniversary of Katrina and therefore also the 19th anniversary of me and my family getting Katrina cough
Mold spores and airborne bacteria and algae are not a joke. They kill people. Don’t play in them
I say he’s lidewally me and everyone at the function is looking at me weird. 4 hr study
something I couldn't help but notice in GDT's Frankenstein was that after the lightning, Victor listens to the creature's chest and when he finds its heart not to be beating, repeatedly pounds his fist against its chest in rage. imo he effectively gave it cpr - the lightning gave it electrical activity and Victor unknowingly kick started it. but then equally, that would mean the creature's life began from unrestrained anger. which is something to think about
This one was creative though
never kill yourself because who knows if guillermo del toro will make a film that stares straight into your soul and says "i see you, i understand you, and the cycle of violence can end" and you will leave a theater sobbing with hope
there’s something about the creature’s many fragments and the stitches that bind it together that reminds me of a stained-glass window. just like a stained-glass piece is assembled from countless disparate shards, the creature itself seems intricately composed of different parts, its very patchwork giving it a strange, fragile kind of beauty.
Guillermo was really out here whoring this man out to the max 😭
"he's a marvel!"
