There is literally nothing I love more than a guard/attack dog ship. I live for that shit. Touch one, the other kills you. One restrains the other with little more than a glance. etc.

what makes me most sick about the ending of the boys is the engine of vought ultimately coming out as the true sole winner of it all. stan edgar is back in precisely the position he was in s1, spouting off about profit in the wake of so much blood. supes will continue to be created and abused. the gears continue to grind.
homelander was never the villain of the show. it was always vought. i was okay with homelander becoming the face of vought, i was okay with his death, i was okay with all of it so long as it meant ending the cycle. taking down the monsters that made him into what he became.
instead, we saw a victim of heinous abuse be shattered by hatred, delusion, fear, and humiliation. driven insane by the delusions that vought put in his head in the first place. he died slowly and painfully, stripped of the only security he'd ever known. he died scared and truly alone in the world, all while the company that created him happily moved on to bigger and better abuses.
i understand that this is probably in part due to the spectacular failure that is gen v's existence and subsequent cancellation. maybe if the writers hadn't been anticipating that series as a future catalyst for vought's downfall, we would have gotten more finality. instead, we're left with an absolutely dystopian ending in which victims have only three options: die as martyrs, survive to exist in compliance with the status quo, or become the scapegoat villains to be mocked, snuffed out and painted over.
my heart goes out to all the folks who're struggling with this ending. i know homelander is a polarizing character who's largely been treated as nothing more than a caricature by the show and fandom/world at large, but there is something in him that resonated with many of us. there is such tragedy in his character that deserved more respect. it makes me deeply sad for everyone who had any hope for a shred of dignity to be shown not just to his character, but to the abuse he endured, and what that turned him into.
Oh boy. (insp.)
i will ALWAYS clap my hands excitedly and lean forward in my seat when someone tells a character to "keep your dog on a leash" only for it to turn out they're referring to another person
the way it reframes the entire relationship dynamic between the two people being addressed. the way wilful loyalty becomes hopeless devotion. the way aggression and violence goes from honorable and rational to bestial and instinctual. the ways faith and trust intersect with codependency and reliance. the questions about power and who wields it in the relationship it opens up. the way it functions as both an insult and an expression of intimidation, of fearful submission.
If I could be anybody, dead or alive, I would wanna be Feyre in chapter 55
this isn‘t a sport anymore it‘s a whorehouse with the amount of cunt max is serving
- VSC deployed only after Lando and Oscar swapped positions, leaving Hulk out on track (completely vulnerable) way longer than necessary
- VSC ending after Max and Oscar passed the last DRS detection zone, preventing Max from being able to overtake
Listen, I hate to be cynical but what the fuck?
Very interesting yes
Had Max been the one using another driver's catch phrase after a race he won he would have been insulted for days being called arrogant & disrespectful just saying.
Williams Racing has replaced Logan Sargeant with Franco Colapinto for the remainder of the 2024 season.
There’s so much I want to say but I truly don’t know how to gather my thoughts into words.
Williams rushed Logan out of F2 and into F1 prematurely. They gave him a seat, yes, but not the opportunity to succeed in it.
Logan waited weekends for upgrades his teammate had long since received. Logan had to drive in 2024 with parts from 2023 because of how unprepared the team was. Logan sat and watched from the sidelines as his car was given to his teammate. Logan returned the following race and drove the very same chassis his teammate crashed.
Logan did all of this with a smile.
Logan deserved so much better.
James Vowles has graced us with the following statement:
I do find it quite ironic that they “need to maximise every points-scoring opportunity in a remarkably tight midfield battle” after completely glossing over the fact that the driver who did in fact originally bring home points this past weekend was disqualified due to an illegal floor caused by team error.
And “investing in our young drivers in the Williams Racing Driver Academy” will only do so much if you shove those same drivers into a seat and leave them to fend for themselves when it matters.
I hope Logan knows how many of us love and support him. I hope Logan knows that I watched him drive in the junior series and there’s no doubt in my mind that he has the skills to succeed if given the opportunity. I hope Logan knows that I will keep cheering him on no matter where he decides to go next.
And as for Williams … I will keep supporting their drivers but I certainly will not be supporting a team who has tried to paint themselves as lovable underdogs but repeatedly shown their true colors throughout this past season.
I’m sure there’s something I forgot to add, but my heart hurts and my thoughts are a veritable mess.
But, no matter where Logan ends up landing, be that IndyCar or another series, I can’t wait for him to kick ass.
What the fuck is a kilometer 🦅
Don't let this Ferrari disasterclass distract you from the fact that Mclaren sacrificed oscar's race to help norris , only for him to be passed by Mercedes and a redbull with much much slower pace .
Yeah is anyone going to talk about this?
I fear not because…you know what we’re dealing with over at McKaren but how did McLaren fuck both drivers in one race to no one’s advantage?
lando wanting an apology from max is kind of hilarious, we can’t all be charles after the vegas 2023 gp
Manifesting Max win in Silverstone and no Brits on the podium because I NEED THE SKY SPORTS COMMENTATORS TO BE FUCKING HUMBLED MY GOD
If a McLaren absolutely has to do well I always want it to be Oscar
Ngl the most annoying about this Bianca drama is that it has made me a Lance Stroll defender and like…I didn’t ask for that
this
this is how you fucking DRIVE
Fernando, you fucking legend. In an Aston Martin agsinst a fucking Red Bull. Pulling a masterclass in defence, holding Checo off for 20+ laps. Taking back P3 by the skin of his teeth.

Fernando Alonso, the man you are.
Bitches will never shut up about this, it’s me. I’m bitches.
shoutout to nando for absolutely EATING checo up that was so hot
