Alistair listened to what Alastor had to say, a smile on the corners of his lips, taking the step out of the embassy. Standing right before Alastor after his little metaphor of the sand being crossed.

"Now that's a good little demon." Alistair says as he passed the radio demon after the minor display of power. Cane down with both hands on the head if it, as if admiring the view with his back turned to him.

Wings neatly folded behind him and not hidden, much like his dark red glowing halo. "I'll behave as I please, now you're in luck, I do enjoy the peace and quiet," he turned his head as if to almost taunt him. "Won't you agree?"

There was the slightest twitch of Alastor's eye, and it was by sheer will the size of his grin didn't falter for it. No crinkle of his nose or feral sneer that would show off his black gums. No! All charming disposition with no side order of killkillmaimeatkill.

"Good is not the adjective many would associate with me! But you are certainly new here, so I'm sure there is MUCH you do not know." Despite his chipper response, his shadow still rose like a snake poised to strike, watching Alistair as he walked past.

Alastor turned about to face him with several cracks of bones turning about too quickly- not all at the same time.

"Would you like a tour of our little hole in the ground, or are you looking to get lost with the rest of the rabble?"

The softness of her expression, smile receded leaving a more serious expression. The flapper considered how much she could tell Alastor. Unlike the loan sharks, this problem was more tangled. Entwined to bits of her past prior to Death.

"While you were gone...I got bored and lonely. So...I approached an information broker. Since coming here, I wondered if someone I knew was here too."

Not members of her family. Mimzy knew were some of them were and she made it a point to avoid them. Easy to do since even with the culling Hell's numbers easily pushed a billion or more.

"It was a pipe dream to think I'd find anything...and I think the info broker is extorting me and not really looking."

There. As bare bones of an explanation Mimzy felt she could get away with. She hadn't given her Soul away, but her deal was a messy tangle.

"That fifty-grand I took from the sharks? That was to help pay the broker. Finders fee. ...haven't heard from them since. So, pretty sure I was scammed."

[girlishgiggle]

"Yeah I remember what the broker looked like. No, I'm not telling you." Her reasoning was her own. "I only wanted you to know because it involved the loan sharks." The flapper played with the beads at her neck, twining the length around her finger. Now Mimzy regretted bringing up the incident and the shadowy business behind it.

"If it was just me picking a fight, no problem. I'd tell you and hell, I'd want to be there when you do the bastard in!" girl had a thing for violence after all.

"This isn't a situation that can be fixed by axing him" Not just the money, but all that time wasted.

"I appreciate you asking, but...I've got to fix it myself. I have to see if they know anything or was just playing me."

His mic settled into the crook of his arm, and one hand cupped his chin while the other held his elbow.

"Careful, Mimzy, you almost sound redeemable. Would hate to make a liar of myself." In reference to his final words to her when he shooed her away from the hotel. However he didn't look too miffed by this fact. The being a liar, not the redeeming part- he lies plenty.

"But then- you mentioned wanting my input on the situation. Unfortunately all I can give as my perspective is that it seems as if some fool needs to k̴n̷o̶w̸ ̶h̵i̷s̷ ̴p̴l̷a̶c̶e̸.̴ " He took his mic back in hand, spidering his fingers up the shaft.

"But you've already said putting the kibosh on their life is not the solution, so my well of suggestions have run dry."

Proceeds to be wiped out by one hell of a headache.))

If this were anyone else, Mimzy would be a curious little spectacle, dancing her emotions around for Alastor's entertainment. Fortunately for her and *very* few others, she was considered a friend. Regardless of their minor, brief spat in the past. Those just happen sometimes~ So when she spoke, Alastor did not listen with a cruel twist to his lips, instead the even, toothless smile.

His eyes fell to his staff after as she finished speaking, running his fingers along the length of it, before spidering those digits back up with a quick beat. Ah~ THERE was the cruel, toothy grin once more.

"That sounds like QUITE the shame. Hey-- unrelated. You don't happen to remember what this good fellow looked like? A name? An address?"

Mimzy had a reputation for getting into shenanigans. And apparently Alastor had a knack for getting her out of them. Again, he had very few friends. It was rather personal when said companions were messed with.

Alistair's eyes were unmoving, fixated upon the peculiar sinner in front of him resembling his own image, if not a flawed version of that. "Radio? Explains the spheric vocabular you make." He said with a raise of his own cane, similar like Alastor's, but a more sleek design with no affixed attachment between the microphone cupped in the one side-open shell. Ears perk up at the mention of the very Princess of Hell.

"But for myself?" Alistair took a small bow, out of manners. "Alistair, Voice of Light. Right hand of Azrael and his prodigy." Head raised up meeting Alastor's gaze again with a flicker of light.

"So beware your step."

This time, his voice seemed to feel like a penetrating sound through Alastor's body, as if he put him in such a calm state it would be alarming. The smile on his face making a tiny curl, not one like Alastor's but similarly close if but a smirked version of his.

The power of his voice might be a bad thing for sinners, should this angel unleash himself. With how the battle before went and with Adam fighting sloppily and unhinged, this guy was in another league.

Ears tipped back with the change in voice, for a moment his own static crackled. Alastor wasn't sure if that was Alistair's version of when the radio demon teetered into a threat, but that's how he was interpreting it and for a split second, Alastor was forgoing the idea of pinning this man in a shadow box and instead eviscerating him to hide the evidence. How something so calming put him on edge so hard was a oxymoron in of itself.

Maybe that was a good thing. Maybe this was some satirical abomination of himself that got his power right. Still.... he was recovering from his PRIOR fight with some angelic bastard, so the buzzling static petered off as Alastor attempted to behave.

"Ah haha! If I didn't know better, I'd take that as a threat! By all means, I'll make sure not to cross you-- I'm in no mood for expanding territory buuuuttt~ The line in the sand passes once you step past this door. So! Perhaps for the sake of manners, you behave yourself down here, and I'll put on my BEST show for you up there, hmmmmm??"

dearalastor answered: "Mimzy, Mimzy, Mimzy. Absolutely." Alastor stalked around her, placing his hands on her shoulders and drumming his fingers there once as he leaned over his trouble-making friend. "What dreadful self-inflicted antics did you get yourself into this time, hmmm?"

Cranes her neck to glance up at him, attempting to give her best charming smile. To be such an innocent little 'dolly' who was merely blown about by ill-winds.

"Uh, where do I start? A lot went on while you were gone". Now, she knew better than to ask him to 'fix it' for her after their last encounter. She had only wanted to vent.

"For once, I don't want anything from you. I just...need advice, I guess? You've dealt with a lot of people in the past. So, some perspective might be nice. And it won't bring sharks with battering rams."

Maybe. She was not ruling that possibility out just yet.

Oh look! She was learning! Perhaps she should find a room at the hotel. But Alastor's head tilted at this turn of events, not expecting it. He could JUST hear Husk's charmingly grating voice now, dubious to her claims.

"Why of course, Mimzy. Now then! Tell your old friend what's so uncharacteristically weighing on you."

A soft chuckle comes out. "Aahah.. Not quite. And I meant who are you to these, people." Alistair asked, whilst this person in front of him, was so strangely similar to himself, astounding really. A minor shift in posture as he fixed up his suit. The two standing opposite of one another, one out past the open doors to the embassy, the arch angel inside of it. His wings behind his back folded neatly to fit behind him, the his plumes at the edges sways gently.

"Hahaa! I see, silly me. Though that is still such a remarkably broad question." If Alistair wasn't settled within the embassy's walls, Alastor would have gone about inspecting him without a care for the other's personal bubble. To pick at and prod and pluck a feather perhaps as a trophy for his wall. Who knew seeing someone so close and yet so far from Alastor's likeness would leave him wanting to see this man beautifully pinned like a butterfly in a shadowbox.

"But! To the folks that matter, I am the face of radio. A man of mystery that rose to stardom overnight. And the main benefactor of the princess' of Hell's bizarrely fantastical pipe dream. To continue the stream of twenty questions because I am brimming! With curiosity, what role to you play up there?"

"Did it really happen if I say I don't remember it?" - for ask meme

"Mimzy, Mimzy, Mimzy. Absolutely." Alastor stalked around her, placing his hands on her shoulders and drumming his fingers there once as he leaned over his trouble-making friend.

With his cane clutched behind his back, Alastor let either side of it wag up and down with a fidgety twist of his wrist. Seemingly ever energetic in one way or another, the Radio Demon needed to shake the want to move off somehow.

A tune followed him, jarred, muffled, as if it was in another room and right there at the same time. If one paid enough attention over the radio white noise, they could pluck up the sound of piano, some brass instrument, and baritone voice.

Unfortunately despite being less than threatening at the moment, most of Hell's resident's kept their distance, which was unfortunate. Alastor could have the gift for gap as much as he had the gift for making folks scream, and he wasn't one to chase down a conversation.

A soft beautiful voice could be heard through the streets of Hell. Basil, the king of Hell's bodyguard was happily singing away an old tune called "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile". He normally didn't sing when he's on duty but right now he felt happy as he ran errands for the king.

Hm, hearing something that could be considered beautiful was a rare find in Hell, but the curious brow that had previously lifted settled when that question was answered. Aaaaahh, one of the fallen king's chess pieces.

"Consider me surprised to hear someone sporting his colors to have such good taste!" The musical broadcast cut off with a moment of tinnitus before the static bled back into his voice when he spoke, looking Basil over when they crossed paths.

Basil stopped when he came face to face with the radio demon but smiled politely, "Indeed. Not many people enjoy that kind of music anymore." He then bowed, "Allow me to introduce myself. Basil Draconia. Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Lidded eyes paired with a toothy, pleased smile. Oh good, Lucifer did know how to hire people with respect. Well, a broken clock was right twice a day so the king might as well get something correct.

"Oh I would not say that, you're just not around the right crowd. Mill around Cannibal Town and there you will know everyone with. Taste." Alastor twirled his cane till the mic came up to rest on his shoulder. Instead of offering his other hand out with the introductions, that free hand instead went behind his back and settled there.

"I'm sure there's little need to introduce *myself*, but it would be rude of me not to follow up etiquette! Alastor, considered me pleased to meet you in return."

Late Night Tunes

It seemed to be eking into the night hours, and most of the residence at the hotel were either tucked away in bed, or out on the streets, enjoying what debauchery and crime Hell permitted.

What with the hotel playing his source of entertainment, Alastor didn't need to prowl the streets to bother the locals just as much. After all, no need to awash the streets in blood like he did so long ago, he could enjoy his slow burn back to the top again. No-- he'd stick to these walls to wring interest from before he felt the want to move on.

But without the nudge outwards to sate some boredom, Alastor was enjoying the night to himself.

Music play without the need of a radio. It crackled to life with some jaunty, upbeat tune. Something that put a kick to his steps and a reason to flip his staff like a trick baton.

The hoof like markings at the base of his shoes clicked-and-clacked with every step, keeping to the beat of the song that warbled on his personal broadcast. Occasionally a hum joined in with the music of the song and those taps.
