All prep packed for the week and ready to roll. I've also made dinners ahead of time, too, as that is the time if day Ryan and I tend to be too tired to make something healthy.
This week, I'm also focused on good thoughts. At work I'll be a 'yes' person and at home I'll shower Ryan with positivity. This should open my eyes to not only giving, but receiving more love.
Week 1 Meals: --Kale/broccoli chopped salads --His and hers quinoa/broccoli/chicken (or fake chicken for me) --Mushrooms and lentils with roasted balsamic brussels sprouts --Greek yogurt/cereal (for him) -- Frozen fruit/spinach/almond milk/protein powder for smoothies (for me) Snacks: -Rice crackers -Hummus -Bell peppers -Cherry tomatoes -Wasabi peas -Snap peas Liquids: -Coconut water -La Croix carbonated water -NUUN tablets
If anyone has any tips on food prep, let me know! Now, I'm off to the beach for the weekend.
Last week of the challenge!
My life's mantra.
Start the week right! It's a holiday, so I have the day off of work. Got to get a lot done today. Luckily, I woke up early!
Monday morning!
Alarm is set. It's official. This week for my extra 2 hours, I'll be hitting the gym with a trainer. She is going to make me kick my ass. Nothing like feeling like you can't move to make you feel like you moved mountains.
January: wake up at 4 a.m. on weekdays. Today, I woke up at 9 if that’s any indication as to how difficult this will be.
Last photo of the pups this year. Great way to end it.

Snowmaggedon is in Portland, but it's not stopping me from sweating once a day. You guys, I've already dropped my mile time down and run for double the amount of time I did before. Husband: why have you been working out so much? Me: um, 'cause it's good for me, and I've made a promise to work out for a month. Husband: oh, why didn't you just say so? Me: um, I did.
February, kick starting my month challenges with some sweat. Goals: Improve my mile time - currently sucking it at 13 minutes. Yuck. Lose an inch from my waist. Tone it up!
