this happened to me last night and I still cannot access my @noxnightingales blog yet. someone inboxed me saying they had accidentally turned me in for scamming them for money: someone with the name david duchovney in their name. then they told me I should get ahold of this person working at tumblr on whatsapp so I did. He says I need to change my password and foolishly I did, but when HE TRIED TO EXTORT ME FOR MONEY telling me I had to pay to have an appeal which I know you don't have to do. Here are some screen caps.
