Classically trained, but don't let that sway you. Dear Suzy is comprised of singer-songwriter-multi instrumentalist Zuzia Juszkiewicz. Classically trained sounds like cascades of rain, or maybe it's pain, falling gently down. Haunting in that singular way, each track drops down with the weight of the black sky, harrowing and doomed. The voice resounds as the first crash hits, and the second and third soon follow. The lulling lilt of this debut album flickers, if not crackles, by the bowing strike of a sinister flint.
