Dreams in your Eyes People often say the eyes are windows to the soul. When we close them we can take an ethereal stroll. It's here that we make our escape, where hopes and desires thrive. Into this pool of magic and whimsy do we nightly dive. The eyes can tell us stories that no mortal dare to spin. Of love, of terror, of things we've lost... and what we've yet to win. Fear not the slumber nor the dreams, for hope is with you still. If you dream it you can achieve it, if you have the will. The soul can teach us many things about our lives and selves. Hopes and dreams we thought were lost can always be unshelved. All it takes is one small push to realize a dream. Tell yourself that life is not as awful as it seems. With time and effort you will find that you succeed. Look around and you will see you have all that you need. In the end it seems your hopes and dreams led to your goal. All thanks to the dreams in your eyes, those windows to your soul.

There’s a noise circling the halls, it’s above my head and in the walls It’s the same noise that when it calls I feel as if my skin begins to crawl Like wind it will come and it will go, that’s the end of this line, onto another show If I could recollect how many times my ghosts visit me in my sleep I’d give up much more time and dig a hole so very deep There’s a saying that goes around, it’s here so often I could wear it like a crown It gets inside my head and, remember that noise I mentioned? It crawls around. There’s a hum circling the halls, it’s under my bed and friends with the walls I’d say it’s a pleasant visit but I wouldn’t be telling you the truth I’d say it’s a nice stay but all I ever hear are echoes from the roof I can’t tell whether it’s here nor there, maybe it’s actually everywhere What I do know is how much of it no one hears, yet it’s like music meant for my ears It’s an irrational oh so illogical misplacement of emotional communications with my brain through which the chemical reaction is doing nothing but driving me literally insane. You could say I’m something of a genius, maybe a lyricist in his prime, but all of that will be lost to the noises in the walls that take up so very much of my time So when you call me, and I have no response, it’s not that I’m ignoring you it may just be I’m trying to translate the noises and haven’t even got a clue. So call my name maybe once, twice, three times, but you’ll have to be loud and you’ll have to be fast because the noises no how to put up a fight and make sure they can last They followed me from home to home, it doesn’t seem to matter from where I roam The noises will circle the halls and get to know the walls, they’ll feed me their version of truths and hang out with the cobwebs in the roofs. They’ll sell me something that’s easily bought and I’ll eat it up without a second thought. So welcome to my home and without further ado let me be the first to introduce you. To the madman who haunts the halls and the memories that befriend his walls.

With EvE calling from the horizon a small caravan has set its sights on the city that lies roughly a six days walk from their position. You are a part of this caravan. As part of a broken society skills are necessary even with a lack of education. The elder citizens generally have the most knowledge pertaining to medical treatments, but it’s up to the younger generations to hunt and establish ground. Rarely do you find anyone gifted enough to lead, and so it’s considered a task that all must give themselves fully to the caravan’s survival. Survival in a wilderness that has gone array for now roughly fifty-two isolated years, since The Past Frontier period, is significantly more difficult. Guns are a commodity and thus are rarely used for hunting, and more for defending the group from attacks from other caravans, even so, they are generally nearly broken, considered a waste of time and to find a working one that is reliable is an extreme rarity. Beyond that food and water is mostly stagnant or rotted to the core due to the lacking of good soil or plants. Even so some species have survived and are hunted and cleaned with care to prevent disease. Plant species are still more common because even in harsh environments they tend to stick it out and survive the best. In the worst cases grub (worms, bugs, etc.) is pulled from the ground. Your first day of travel begins tomorrow, to trust you in light of this situation, you should tell us about yourself.
[R] Outlast || Zombies
You are a survivor in the group Harlan was leading until his heroic — and possibly stupid — demise! He has been guiding this band of miscreants, do-gooders, and what-have-yous through this crazy, hellish time that could quite possibly be the end of life as we all know it! For years Harlan Chase Thorne kept spirits up; led everyone through horrendous and life threatening situations; and managed to prevent those who disagree from slashing each other's throats. However, these "happy" times have suddenly come to abrupt stop after your last venture to a place which had appeared to be safe. Harlan noticed one of your numbers was missing and went to search for them. They managed to stumble into one of the lower floors where some of the zombies were still lurking. He threw himself in front of them right as a zombie was lunging for them, sacrificing himself to save them. Without your leader, what do you do? Are you the brute who storms off? The mischievous who attempts to lead the group affray? The youngster whose life was saved? Whomever you are you decide, but will you survive or will you fall to the same fate as Harlan Chase Thorne?

You find yourself trapped in a concrete room with no feasible way out when a riddle appears before you and soon gas fills the room. As you stumble into a hallway you swore was not there before you run into an unfamiliar face and hear voices around you. Is this the person who put you down here? Or another victim? And how are you ever going to get out?
