Me, a Canadian: haha oh yeah I remember that

My friend, who is also Canadian leans in and whispers: what that?

Me: idk you just kinda go along with it

So I have this YouTube channel right? Well before I made the one for this online alias, I had another more personal YouTube channel. Now that you know that I can get to my real problem.

I want to make short cool kinda aesthetic videos but I also want to capture my real life for personal memories. So I was going to just post personal vids on my first account but I already have a small yet really nice following on that channel so I kinda wanna keep up with what I was doing on there. So if I do that then what is the dearthealien channel going to be used for??? Idk. Maybe more creative projects, like if I ever actually decide to do amateur short films and animation? I'll sleep on it bc its currently 4am and I just finished editing a lil vid for my personal.

Things my English Professor has said: First class

Keep in mind that I am a First year University student and was told that the Professors would be more strict in the classroom than in high school. They were wrong. My Prof came to class in sandals.

- "Come to my office if you have and questions about school...(5 sec pause then whispers while looking of in the distance)... or life."

- After handing out the course outline, "here is my contact info. Text me, email me, throw a rock through my window"

- "slip a note under my door but I might be sleeping so it might take a while for me to respond"

- "I feel blah"

- in referance to campus cafeteria coupons "They used to have us hand them out but now they dont trust us anymore" (he then glared at the door for a sec.)

- in referance to reselling old textbooks "its more than we used to get, we used to lug them around until we...(scoffs)... until we burn'em"

- "all that is going to transpire during our wonderful gatherings" when talking about future classes

- "I was supposed to check up on it but... er, you know, things happen" when talking about how he was supposed to look over our student profiles.

- "I have nothing better to do with my life except marking. And mowing my lawn."

- "It's only the first week. I'd rather be fishing."

- "research is fun! (then mutters) just like banging your head against the wall."

- "I dont use red pens (for marking), I used Fuchsia! It's less negative."

- He kept bringing up the school BBQ that was happening the next day and was really trying to convince us to go.

- "I thought LOL meant Lots of Luck and I thought it was used sarcastically."

- he had SEVERAL different places to recommend for napping on campus even though no one asked him.

Dear The Alien,

I haven't written to you in a while. I am indeed still alive by the the way. I guess I write a little bit of a summary.

I didn't do much on the weekend besides learning that my mom isn't doing to well financially. She wasn't able to bring my younger brother and sister school shopping. This kind of upset me because I have noticed that she has been getting more clothes and she has been going out with her friends a lot this summer. But I was gone all summer so I don't know the full story behind all of that.

Actually I did go lazer tagging with my brother, my dad, and his far too young girlfriend. She paid for that and then paid for a half hour VR experience for each of us so that was nice I guess. Mind you, I don't hate her, its just that she's my dads girlfriend and she's only 2 years older than me with 2 kids. Yeah. She has two kids already but I'm not getting into that now.

I made plans with a friend on Monday but they cancelled last minute because their cousin went into labour. This particular friend I have been trying to have coffee with because I want to ask if they want to be my roommate for when my older brother and I move out this January. We want to have a 4 bedroom house so we need 2 more roommates. And this house needs to be close to my university.

Last night, well technically this morning because it was at 3am, was the full moon. I put out a jar of water to turn into moon water. I tasted it today and it does taste better than regular tap water. Hopefully this will help calm my school stresses.

Speaking of school, I started my first class today. It was philosophy and the professor sounds like a great teacher. I cant wait to start learning from them! This is a happy note to end this letter on. I hope my other professors also lovely.

Dear The Alien,

You know what Gem stones are right? Well I have a small collection that I've gather the past two years. Today I cleansed and rearrange them so that they're displayed on one of my side tables. To cleanse them I waved them all over a small candle fire and tonight they are going to be sitting under the moonlight. I know its not a full moon but its pretty full and the sky is clear so I think they'll do fine. I was going to burry a few in the soil of my snake plant but I figures I probably wouldn't want to have to wipe the soil off in the morning.

University is starting next week. I guess that's why I'm starting to feel more stressed. I hope these gem practices will help calm me down. I'm going to book an appointment with the counsellor during the first week of school and maybe look out for the wellness centre activities.

Do you use gems? Are humans even using them correctly? Do you think this will bring me closer to you, or communicating with you properly? I guess I'll let you know how this gem thing is working out for me in a few weeks.

Dear The Alien,

I woke up to smoke in my bedroom. I forgot to close my window last night. Apparently the wild fires around my home city are still burning. Is there any way you can stop the fires? I know its the earths way of cleansing itself but its getting pretty close to the city. I don't want to start over again, I just got back and I feel like my life is starting to get on track. Anyways, I have to eat then go buy my school books, maybe make an appointment with a counsellor again, just in case.

This is the Tumblr. I can show you almost anything on here, except myself of course. I can tell you my deep thoughts, which I’ll probably mostly do, or talk about literally anything else. I don’t even have to talk on this one, we can both just not talk while I send you posts from other people. But I think I want to talk, even if you don’t respond, that’s why I made these social media accounts.
