Hi venus, I love your writing and account so much! I want to also write and put things out do you have any tips for writing the ideas in my head and maybe even writing over 1k wrds.

ignore that this is a month late </3 but here's what I do ! (tho idk if it's a very good method, its just what I do lol) also ily <3 ty sm ^3^

incorporate your favorite things, movies, cliches ! take a film you love and make it an au. i.e. cinderella, translate it into a semi-unique idea and plug your favorite lil guy in. try to stay away from something too much like another fic author, being inspired by others works (movies, books, tv) is fine, just don't take from a peer.

write it really poorly to start!! i write an absolutely garbage bare-bones version first, mostly just what actions are happening and the dialogue I can come up with. just use blocks of text so you get something written semi-fast. i.e.: you meet them in a garden, they discuss their favorite flowers, interrupted before introduction.

then, you can add details as they come. reread your work like you're reading someone else's--add what you as the reader would like to see, take out what you think is repetitive. you don't need to be perfect, it takes practice to know how you like your writing to read, but you'll never know if you don't try !! a voice and style will develop as you go.

I hope this makes any sense at all ;-; it really is just a fuck around and find out process but if you love it you can do it !! and I believe in you !!
