He is Edwin Martinez, he is my dad. Now he is based in New Zealand as an OFW. After several check-ups, he was diagnosed of CANCER. He cannot eat or breath properly due to his condition.

He has masses in his right neck and it increased in size. And today, he is admitted at Canterbury District Health Board, Christchurch Hospital. Unfortunately, he has no health insurance and is not resident in NZ. Therefore, he would nit be funded for healthcare in NZ.

He needs urgent treatment by doing chemotherapy and can be done in NZ or here in the PH. Treatment in NZ would be expensive. He decided to go back here in the PH as soon as possible so that we can also take care of him and we can look for hospitals that can assist his condition.

But due to pandemic Covid-19, domestic and international flights were cancelled. Hope you can help us.

Pwede nyo po ba ulit ako matulungan? Alam ko po pare-parehas tayong hirap ngayon dahil sa pandemic na ito. Pero humihingi po sana ako ng kaonting tulong para sa aking papa na may sakit na Lymphoma. Nung friday pang 4th chemotheraphy na po nya yon, pero nung 3rd and 4th chemothearpy na iyon ay may kailangan na ibili na gamot na worth 38k every chemotherapy hindi po namin iyon nabili for him.

Naubos na rin po yung mga natanggap namin unang donation and wala po ako iba malapitan at sobrang malaking halaga na po iyon. Hindi po ito para sa akin, ginagawa ko po ito para sa papa ko at para matulungan sya gumaling.

Any amount will do po. Kahit piso pa po iyan malaking tulong na po yon sa amin lalo na kay papa. Sobrang maappreciate po namin ang iyong mga tulong para sa papa ko. Maraming salamat po and God bless you.

I can’t believe na mangyayari ‘to. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko madedetalye lahat-lahat, dahil hindi pa nag-sisink in mga nangyayari. Masyadong mabilis.

Kagabi sinugod si papa sa hospital dahil nawalan sya ng malay habang nililinisan sya ng mama ko. Nanghihina na papa ko nung nakaraan pa, dahil siguro sa side effect ng injection nya dahil kakatapos nya lang rin magpachemotherapy. Last week lang rin nalaman namin na STAGE 4 na si papa. Hindi mo makikita sa kanya na ganon na sya dahil malakas pa sya, but last night ibang iba. Halos gumuho mundo namin dahil nakikita na namin si papa nahihirapan huminga at hindi na sya makatayo.

Sinugod sya sa hospital and need nya iadmit ulit kaso dahil pangit ang sistema ng bansa natin. Kahit cancer patient ka lang, isasama sya sa covid patients and need nya iICU at lagyan ng tubo. Dahil nahihirapan na sya huminga, instead na iadmit sya at isama sya sa mga covid patient, kahit negative naman sya, inuwi na lang namin si papa.

Pls help us. Hindi sapat sinasahod namin magkakapatid para matustusan panggagamot ni papa we need 80K per day para lang sa ICU. Hindi ko pa na paplanuhan maigi kung ano fundraising ko para sa papa ko pero ganito na nangyari.
