And another map! This time it’s an underground… workshop, to put it in a way. Crystallized, creepy, and with one multi-armed watcher boss to top it off. There were a couple of puzzles in the first rooms, one of which ended up with a few creative solutions

I was playing with the idea of Sandersonian magic systems with a friend, and this is what we came up with.

A blade doesn’t kill, the will of those who hold it does. Some kill for coin, fame, power, but these rogues kill for their gods. The Crusader is a divine type of rogue who can fight in the field or from the shadows. They don’t have magic but still channel the divine power of their gods into the weapons they wield.
a couple DnD characters for @oyuudatass / @roll-for-it!
I promised you homebrew items and now you’re getting them. Since there are now Racial Feats I figured why can’t an item only be attuned by a specific race? These items are just from the Core races of Dungeons & Dragons. More to come!
You can run D&D with just some PCs and a dungeon. I think that's totally legit. But if you have a campaign setting, here are some things for...
This is a fairly old link, but a good one for DMs. Twenty questions that will help you flesh out your D&D setting.
For a rules-oriented companion piece, try Necropraxis’ 20 Quick Questions: Rules post.
Darktentacles Large aberration, unaligned Armor Class 14 (natural armor) Hit Points 153 (18d10 + 54) Speed 5 ft., swim 20 ft. Str 19, Dex 15, Con 17, Int 12, Wis 12, Cha 12 Saving Throws Cha +3 Condition Immunities prone Senses tremorsense 60 ft. passive Perception 11 Languages Aquan, Common Challenge 7 (2900 XP) Grasping Tentacles. The darktentacles has twelve tentacles. Each tentacle can be attacked (AC 20; 15 hit points; immunity to poison and psychic damage). Destroying a tentacle deals no damage to the darktentacles. Actions Multiattack. The darktentacles uses Constrict. It then makes four tentacle attacks. Tentacle. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8+4) bludgeoning damage and the target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until the grapple ends, the darktentacles can’t use the same tentacle on another target, nor can it attack the grappled target with its other tentacles. A tentacle that is grappling a target can be destroyed by making an attack roll against the darktentacles with disadvantage, and dealing at least 10 points of damage to it. Constrict. The darktentacles deals 22 (4d8+4) bludgeoning damage to each creature grappled by it. It then pulls each of those creatures 10 feet straight toward it.
These monsters lurk in swamps, strewing about the treasure of their previous victims to lure in fresh prey. They hide just below the water, all but impossible to see, lurching out when creatures draw near. The average specimen has twelve tentacles, each of them lined with eyes, though some have up to thirty. Their tentacles are prehensile, and some darktentacles wield weapons from their victims. Most, however, seek to grab passerby and drag them to a watery grave. They are often found along rarely-traveled roads, where help is unlikely to arrive.
Originally from the Monster Manual II. If there is a monster from 3.5 or Pathfinder that you want to see converted to 5e, feel free to send me a message or submit a monster request on the submit page.

cuttlefishculler:
my favorite thing about dungeons and dragons is that you can study for it alone, wherever you are,
and also the fact that i found an entire database of free resources about 5.0 that are basically all you need to play except for an actual campaign lol
Waterdeep: Dragon Heist introduces rules for rooftop chases! Which are “use the chase rules from the DMG (chapter 8) plus this complications table”. Flying creatures just fly, obviously.
This is Taziel, my warlock for the upcoming D&D 5e game on the Scratticus twitch channel! She has been so much fun to design, especially as I’ve never played warlock before so this will be exciting!
Warlock is my favorite class. They’re easy and fun to play. The lack of spell slots can definitely get frustrating, but getting them back on your short rests is great.
In my experience it has made me more conservative with spell slots with full spell caster characters which is helpful.
