BACKSTORY.
ely is a decently successful artist who lives in an apartment with exposed bricks and high ceilings. their home is overflowing with plants and antique furniture, and old music playing from a record player can often be heard from the other side of the door. she is a seer, though she doesn't know this. sometimes when she paints she goes into a frenzy, for reasons she doesn't understand, and she paints and paints and paints. the process is fanatical, almost violent, and always leaves them exhausted with an aching head and a nosebleed. the resulting paintings are always dizzying, ominous messes, unclear riddles she can't make heads or tails of. she stashes these paintings away, unsure what to do with them and not wanting anyone to see them.
LORE.
seers are an extremely rare and ancient supernatural species possessing the innate or acquired ability to perceive beyond the ordinary confines of linear time and physical reality. unlike standard witches, who typically use external tools like grimoires or spells for divination, seers possess an internal, omniscient power that allows them to act as intermediaries between the mortal plane and the unseen realms.

002. i am mutuals only, and tbh i really follow based on vibes. things that will prevent me from following: rules or posts that are off-putting (i.e. theyβre aggressive, accusatory or rude etc), you post a lot of vagues, uncut and untagged posts, you have no rules or info about your character available (exceptions will be made if we're mutuals on another account). interest trackers lowkey stress me out, so i seldom do them, and i don't interact with "like to stay mutuals" posts. if i follow you, i want to write with you, period <3

004. i'm not picky with formatting, and am fine with banners, gif icons, gifs etc. my writing style is rather simple, more book style rather than heavily edited. that said, i don't mind at all what format you use, but i won't try to match it if it's heavily edited; if you're okay with that though, then so am i! i can't grasp very flowery writing / purple prose, so i'm unlikely to follow anyone who writes this way. feel free to rb answered asks! continuing them in a new post is fine too. plotting is a must for long threads.
005. please lmk at any time if you need me to adjust something for your accessibility when writing with me! font size, spacing, what image i use, etc. it'll never bother me, and i want writing with me to be as easy as possible. please don't use fancy font or all caps in replies to me; courier new font causes heavy eye strain for me, so if your carrd features a lot of it, i'm unwilling to try and read it and therefore won't follow you.
