Setting the man on fire, was what he needed to lose control completely. He was fighting hard not to let himself be pushed through the edge, but what she did, did exactly that, so his fangs also came out, the urge to attack her even bigger now. If you want to really piss him off, push his buttons really hard, hurt someone in front of him, especially if it is someone that he is close to. It wasn’t the case with the man that was in flames, but he still felt an immense amount of anger, the method he used, wasn’t working anymore to ease it, “Wha’ the fuckin’ hell is wron’ wive you?” his accent getting even more thicker. Two things could do that, when he was really mad, or when he was around his sister. Without thinking twice, he pushed her, hard enough to make her body collapse against a near tree. Bad idea, and he knew that the moment he did it, she would hurt him, wouldn’t she? Possibly even kill him, but there was no turning back, his kind couldn’t exactly go back in time, as far as he knew.
harlow liked being a demon, that was for sure. it was the only thing she knew how to do to perfection. what she didn’t like sometimes? was the fact some others were FASTER than her. you know you could just possess a vampire, right? yeah, yeah-- miss her with that. there were certain downsides about vampirism she didn’t necessarily enjoy. so that’s the only reason why chad was even able to catch up to her and do the most stupid thing he could’ve done in his worthless existence. with a flick of her wrist, she managed to lessen her impact against the tree. didn’t mean she didn’t hit it. “that’s gonna bruise.” she sighed under her breath. looking and sounding more as if she had just spilled a glass of water -- instead of him sealing a deal. with another flick of her wrist, she threw him and kept him with his chest pinned against the wall. “i don’t know what’s your problem, and i really don’t care.” she told him once she had picked herself off the ground and closer to him. the flames were still burning the alley and the heat was almost SUFFOCATING. for someone who still held a certain degree of mortality, of course. “do you hear that?” she asked him once he was closer to him. the screams of the men were dying, just like them. but they were alive enough to hear the AGONY. “do you see them?” grabbing a handful of hair, harlow forced him to look in their direction, making his face scrap against the rough surface-- making sure the parts of rock sticking out would be ingrained in his eye. hey, he only needed one eye at the moment to see. “that should be you.” it wasn’t like she needed many reasons to just choke him with his intestines and toss him in the fire-- but, “i haven’t met someone as brainless as you in a while, so YOU’RE IN LUCK.” as if his prize was the next -- she grabbed a loose piece of wood from one of the dumpsters. the music became broken like a scrathed record as the fire started melting the speakers. the makeshift stake aligned in between his shoulder blades as she SLOWLY pierced through skin and muscles before breaking it. it wouldn’t KILL HIM -- but it would be a nightmare for chad to get out once she was done with him. which wouldn’t be anytime in the next minute. instead, she kept him pinned to the wall. leaning to the side as if she was having a casual conversation, even if the anger bubbled under her skin. “now, what’s your business, hm? because i DOUBT you’d go through this little mistake just because you were trying to play cops and robbers. newsflash, chad. NO ONE likes cops.”
