If someone who had a death note and hadn't used it prior, made a mark on one of the pages with a pen, would that person still be effected by the rule that they cannot go to heaven or hell?

okay so technically no, since they didn’t actually use it (no specific intent to kill, no face pictured, etc.) BUT they still wouldn’t go to heaven or hell, because in the death note universe when any human dies, they go to Mu (nothingness)
