really fond of humans just from an appearance standpoint. the long legs. the manes of hair that can come in practically any colour and texture. those crazy high-contrast eyes with the white scleras and colourful irises. the fingers being so much longer than the toes. there's a lot to love. solid 10/10 animal species
hey there just out of curiosity are you not human, too?
hilariously enough, I am probably the most human out of anyone on this entire site. earlier today I was posting about getting "species euphoria" from doing human activities like ecosystem management. I'm the worlds first therian to have a kintype that aligns with his biological species. shirt that says "I ❤️ being a sapient omnivorous primate & bipedal persistence predator" on the front and booty shorts that say "largest gluteal muscles to body size ratio on the planet"
Said it a year ago and I’ll say it again.
Pirate all your favorite shows, movies and games while you still have the chance.
Oh, and never stop supporting physical media.
Making this its own post because I occasionally remember this and can't stop laughing
When I was 14, my friends and I went to see Madagascar 3 - told our parents and then walked to and from the theater by ourselves. When I got home, my mom asked me all kinds of questions about the movie, and I told her about it, and I kept singing the stupid Afro Circus song
and eventually she gave in and was like, "Wait, you guys really went to see Madagascar? I assumed you were lying to us and sneaking into a rated R movie." And I fear I have never felt so lame as I did in that moment.
when I tell u I had to scroll a week back in my twitter likes to find this video bc I genuinely couldn’t sleep until I did
Had a conversation with my mom about AI and programs designed to detect it, and I am happy (??) to report that my 100% self-written (written before AI was even a thing) writing detects as... 6% human... 🤦♀️
Wanting to explore that a bit more, I bought the 7 day trial and tried some more of my older writing. Suddenly I'm getting 87% to 99% human. Well, that seems odd. I don't think my writing style has changed all that much.
So, of course, I put the exact same chapter that got me 6% before through again and lo and behold! Suddenly it's 99% human!
Let me repeat.
The EXACT SAME text that was only 6% human-written when using the free version is somehow 99% human-written when using the paid version.
Well alright then. Let's have AI write a chapter based off one I fed through. 99% human.
🤦♀️ x 1000
There is no foolproof way to determine what is or is not AI written.
Hey do y’all remember when Boeing fucking killed a guy last year. And we all said “huh I guess Boeing fucking killed a guy” and then went on with our lives. And everybody knew that Boeing had fully just fucking executed a guy and nothing came of it. Like there was no police investigation no justice no nothing. Like literally EVERYBODY knew that Boeing had full on murdered a guy to silence him and there wasn’t any consequences for them. Kinda crazy.
and there was even less talk when openai did the exact same thing more recently
So for those who are, very understandably uninitiated on this story:
On 23 October last year (2024) the New York Times published an interview with former OpenAI researcher Suchir Balaji who worked on organising and gathering data for OpenAI until 2022 when he begun thinking about the morality of it. He eventually came to the conclusion that what OpenAI is doing blatantly violates copyright law and decided to leave the company altogether in August 2024.
After he came out with this accusation he was set to appear in court to testify against OpenAI’s data-gathering practices, something which had the potential of being a complete disaster for the company and the generative AI industry as a whole.
That was until 26 November, just days before he was due to appear in court, when he suddenly and mysteriously was found dead inside his own apartment. Investigators concluded that the death was self-inflicted, something which his family has disputed.
There was also “sign of struggle in the bathroom and looks like someone hit him in the bathroom based on blood spots”, and his apartment showed signs of having been ransacked for evidence: “The pin drive is missing. His computer was messed up.”.
Overall it feels pretty clear-cut what happened, that is to say that OpenAI had him killed because he was a legitimate threat to their business, indicating that they are fully aware that the way they’re gathering data is completely illegal.

im sorry what?
Happy July 20th!
i do think it’s funny when you’ve been into a thing long enough that you’ve done all the serious analysis you can do so now you’re mostly just thinking up looney tunes scenarios to put the characters in
looney tunes scenarios which are most importantly still impeccably in-character because of all the aforementioned serious analysis
And critically, none of these gifs are from the one actual episode where the characters are literal LOONEY TUNES
people aren't even exaggerating indeed is literally like that. walmart attendant $13 an hour, target attendant $13 an hour, AI dick sucker $40 an hour, home depot attendant $13 an hour, guy who designs bullets that can only kill children $160k a year plus benefits, gas station manager $18 an hour
you make one fucking post where the point is “women are encouraged to develop disordered eating from a very young age and that impacts how we view the ‘natural’ size and shape of women” and too many reblogs later i am being accused of saying short people wouldn’t exist if they ate better growing up. i’m sorry but if you genuinely think i was saying that you are just a buffoon. i cannot and will not sanction your buffoonery.
honestly given my parents whole [gestures vaguely] i am actually incredibly well adjusted
