Another good indicator – who do they make into the villains/obstacles in their fanfiction?
If they say “I do like/love Character-of-Color-X, but in my story, they’re going to be the bad guy.” even though it makes no sense in terms of my story or the original story and they certainly won’t bother explaining how they become the villain. It’s one-dimensional bad endings for everyone who isn’t white.

No cockles panel next year so if you were going to book in hopes of seeing it, in their words “don’t waste your money.” It’s a better use of time to appeal to Creation to get a cockles panel, hopefully if Creation schedule a cockles panel they won’t be swayed by anyone trying to stop it and will treat fans who have handed them money a lot better.
As someone who has been to and worked behind the scenes at a variety of cons of a variety of sizes, I can attest that this is shit. It was shit and going to stay shit the second Daniela opened her mouth and spewed words like “delusional.” As a con organizer and someone whose job is marketing and PR, I can’t tell you how much her words and tone shocked me. As such, having Jared join Misha and Jensen on stage–changing programing that you have acknowledged people come to your con for–was no surprise. That move has one acceptable reason that I sincerely doubt is true, given how all three boys acted.
When con organizers give you, their attendees, the metaphorical middle finger, it’s time to back way the hell up. And even if the Jensen and Misha panel thing wasn’t a big deal to you, I’d still back way fuck up. A con that picks and chooses which part of its audience to be nice to is a shitty piece of crap excuse for a convention and should be treated like a turd about to explode. Who knows who they will turn on next or what other major gaffes they will make.
I wish Creation was a better option, but I do have more faith that they’ll listen, and given my opinions on them, that’s saying something.
Do you think Daniela decided to do what she did with the panel because she was worried if she didn't it would be like last year with Jensen and Misha flirting for the whole internet to see? I feel like her (and the bibros) were motivated by how jib8 was with Jensen not holding anything back because he was drunk so they wanted to make up for it this year by being sure nothing even remotely cockles would happen. Well, if they think that’s the problem there’s a real easy solution to it. Don’t give him alcohol on stage. Not cancel the entire panel that people paid and traveled for. I think she decided to do it because she hates destiel, number 1, and because she’s a shitty con organizer. I don’t and have never gone to cons, but why normal people don’t boycott them, I’ve never understood. The bibros run the show and that’s been obvious for a long time.

The haters they may not willing to do so to have a same J2 as in US& Canada but they sure willing to do so to just trash on destiel&cockles and misha fans. Kelios and his group already did it this years. If none of us there the next year, They will happily announce that they take over jib and the worst part is! No one there to support misha. I can’t imagine what those haters will do to misha if no one fights them and support misha. They already made misha be left out this year at the j2m panel.

I agree. I do feel bad for those that travelled for the cockles panel that it was canceled, but these attacks are heavily against Misha. If he’s still going to go to these cons, taking away his support isn’t the way to effectively make yourselves heard. Don’t allow Misha to be hurt further because of J2 extremists and some horrible woman.
Misha was terribly hurt when he saw people leaving his panel and he became very self conscious and self effacing. Imagine if a boycott happens and his panel only has antiMisha fans there. I know you all love JenMish, but remember they are not a unit. They are two individuals, one of whom is the target of these attacks.
Be warned, a boycott like this will hurt Misha. If he decides to stop going to cons all together, then they win. No cockles, no mishalecki, no j2m.
I encourage those hurt by this panel cancellation to step up and act, but don’t forget about Misha.

Sweet anon, i dont know for sure what happened but word is that a group of people plotted to take away the only cockles panel from cockles fans, and with the (unknowing?) help of the con’s organization, they succeeded, and the panel was turned into a J2M panel without prior notice to fans who go to jibcon specifically for the cockles panel. I hear good things about the con itself and the panel was great, but people are rightfully upset at this turn of events, and obvs, because this fandom is trash, the anti-misha usual suspects are gleefully gloating about how they took the cockles panel away. And to add insult to injury, instead of questioning the party that ruined the fun for eveyrone, people are questioning the rightfully upset fans who had been looking forward to this panel and didn’t get it (both the ones who paid for it and those who didn’t), and the organizing party is siding with those bullying and demanding the upset people to settle with what they got instead of what they paid for.
And of course, others saying that Jared “ruined” the panel (which is stupid), and hating on jared who imo had nothing to do with the decision making behind this.
