I think the parallel in what Mike almost did to Lydia and what ended up happening to him in the end is so interesting.
Like, Lydia pleading with him to not let her daughter think she had abandoned her when he kills her bc she would literally rather her daughter be traumatized for life at the sight of her dead body than never know what happened to her, and that moving Mike to the point that he finds a reason to spare her even if she is a liability. And then Walter subjecting him to the very fate Lydia just nearly avoided, killing him in a secluded area and disposing of the body so thoroughly that his daughter-in-law and granddaughter will never know what really happened to him or why he truly left them.

liking a ship but disliking the distinct set of stock fanon that they have been assigned is like one of those punishments dante came up with when he wrote the worldbuilding for hell in inferno
does anyone else feel like we need to raise the standard for writing quality across all mediums like right now

"Tom's relationship with Patricia is a funny one because I think they're a little bit codependent. She likes having this friend, who's the mayor, and she's by his side all the time. Matthew [Rhys] and I once talked about how, God forbid, he ever forgot Patricia's birthday, his life would be over. He couldn't go to work for weeks because he [would] know she's just waiting to be furious. For him, she's someone that he can rant to. She's all ears. She'll listen. Always." -Kate O’Flynn, Den of Geek

In appreciation of the cinematography in Pluribus (2025)
I’m slowly beginning to accept the reality that 2007 was not last year but in fact almost four years ago
