Hate

I hate when the host of an open mic says, "Keep it going for So-and-So." Don't tell me to "keep it going." I'll keep it going if I think So-and-So deserves it. And if you're saying that, then they probably don't. So, if you'll excuse me Mr. Open-Mic-Host, I'll be hunched over my glass of water thinking about what an idiot you are.  Then, I'll be extremely happy when people clap for me twice after I go up.

Just did an amazing open mic at the Hidden Shamrock. People responded so well. I'm so happy. I performed Don't Apologize and Run, Run Away. Best of all, Matt Garton came to support. (No idea why I don't have a picture or video of this...gosh darn it)
