Why yes, I did go to the thrift store again for mental health preservation and picked up new stuff for the altar. Acacia wood cheese board? Now a nice little stand for Cernunnos and the offerings provided to him.

The "FAFO" Jar
Sometimes you just need to throw a paper with a name or a personified object that represents an asshole into the "FAFO" jar and shake the absolute bejeezus out of it.
*Note* : I never place intentions of harm, and all intention-work and spell-work is protective and defensive; with the simple foundations being to remove that person from my space/life, and send whatever negativity they are trying to bring my way back to them to deal with.
The FAFO jar ingredients - A.K.A. the Return to Sender/Energetic Timeout and F-Off Jar! (Because of a shared living space, I don't like putting my spellwork into my freezer).
Incense Ash: spiritual protection and banishment Salt: protection, cleansing and banishment Cloves: protection and banishment of negativity Cinnamon: protection and potency Red Chilis: removing negative energy and warding Garlic (dried/powdered etc.): protection and banishment Black Pepper: protection and banishing negativity
Iron/steel nails or anything pokey; such as sewing pins: this is to help "make the intentions/spell stick", and also can reinforce the protective properties
Grind all the spices with your tool of choice, spice grinder, mortar and pestle, etc. and mix in the incense ash after (to not contaminate your spice grinder etc. if it is not possible to have one just for spell work, and if you need an easier option for incorporating the ingredients and mortar/pestle method is not possible).
Find a nice sized jar that is shakeable, preferably with a good secure seal. Add the powdered/combined ingredients to it. Then add a paper with the person's name and intentions (i.e. Name, I no longer permit you to direct your negative intentions or harmful behaviour towards me and my home) or an object (such as a smaller jar with things representing the person) into the bigger shakeable jar.
Proceed to then shake it in a spice-filled, "screw-you", tornado-esque manifestation of not tolerating people to treat you like dirt anymore, while setting your intention. Such as that of not allowing their negativity, aggression, etc. to be received by your person, and returning whatever not nice stuff/actions/intentions/energies they are bringing to the table back at them. Because you don't deserve to deal with that. :)
Also side note: be mindful while shaking the jar if you use nails, as it can cause the jar to crack/break if you shake it hard enough.
And as always, make sure to do protection warding and cleansing for yourself before and after shaking the jar, through whatever method you use.
Stay safe, and protect your peace.
Sometimes you have to remind people that your being in their life is a privilege, not an obligation. Irregardless of blood relatives or otherwise.
Going on a spontaneous solo trip to the thrift store to help reassure my nervous system Iām not in danger, and simultaneously fulfill my inner ADHD gremlinās foraging requirements š¾ššļø
Hoping to find some cool new additions for my altar/divination workspace!
Thrift store adventure was a success! Found a really neat celestial themed hourglass, and as much as I was tempted to get the antler-themed candleholder with my main deity Iām working with presently being Cernunnos, it was too big to fit in my space and also was sadly broken. š
Anyone else have some cool witchy thrift store finds?

That fun moment when you go to ER for chronic pain and it takes over seven hours to talk to someone who takes you seriously. š«©
I am so overwhelmed and sick of being dealing with this, I had a bit of a meltdown, and was only able to calm down only after I cried myself to sleep in my partnerās arms in the waiting room.
Five years of fighting for a diagnosis while being continuously gaslit by medical professionals that imaging was clear, it was just stress, too much coffee, need to lose weight, overthinking my symptoms, and then another five years of trying to get them to then stand by the diagnosis the finally decided was a close enough fit, and to provide a proper treatment plan. And then having my concerns constantly dismissed, even though over the past two months I developed new symptoms which were severe and debilitating, I think the meltdown was warranted. Also the fact that no one is taking the fact seriously that I am following my parentsā genetic footsteps by developing the exact same symptoms, and they were also previously misdiagnosed, makes my blood boil.
Itās not ājust hormonesā, it is not ājust anxietyā, it is not ābeing dramaticā, it is not ājust crampsā, and it sure as hell shouldnāt be something that āI should be expected to deal withā. And if one more person suggests pregnancy (to someone who is having concerns about even if that will ever be possible) instead of actually holding accountability to provide healthcare solutions, I donāt even knowā¦
Pain causing you to pass out isnāt normal. Having debilitating pain where you cannot function is not normal. Having to experience symptoms so severe that health nurses had continually suspected multiple missed miscarriages (they werenāt) for multiple months, is not normal. Doctors only taking pain concerns (sometimes) seriously and sometimes agreeing to investigation of the cause when conception and reproduction is mentioned is absolute bullshit.
I am so incredibly exhausted, and holding onto hope is getting harder.
Taken last week- baby girl was ready for a park adventure ā¤ļø
This past week was a well needed rest and recharge. Went on a trip, found my first pendulum - crafted from beautiful green aventurine; and finally found a statue of Cernunnos when exploring at a local metaphysical and green witch shop ā¤ļøš¦š±
I have to assume that in the fullness of time, at least once, a mouse has used a mushroom as an umbrella.
Thatās enough to keep me going.
@cryptonatureāā Man do I have good news for you!
Also! Bonus frog!
Not a doctor, but have you tried sitting under of the awning of your porch with a wool blanket and cup of tea while a thunderstorm shakes through the very being of your soul?
Endo flare ups combined with migraines and a cold which evolved into flu; all during last two weeks of the term when I have major projects due. Couldnāt even sit through my online class today and had to leave early.
Hoping I pass but not super confident!
Update- I passed the first of my four major assignments (yay) and have not fully disintegrated into a pile of dust yet - thanks to Tylenol Cold and Flu, and new medication to try to keep my chronic pain flares under control until I get to see a specialist.
Three major projects to go, with one due tonight and running on blind optimism and coffee.
